Do you want ivf in a porn game? :vit has a repeatable pregnancy mechanic.

The pregnancy mechanic is SS is completely shit, your baby doesn't even have a face and dissapears after some weeks. The plot and writing of WaL are much better as are the girls/character models. SS has better animation (which sometimes is completely distorted, like roxxy solo sex scene in the bottle game) and better minigames/game mechanics. To be honest the two games are similar the only difference is the size of available content, It's not a difference in quality.Bro, keep huffing that copium. WaL has like 6 girls with 2 scenes each, SS has like 30+ girls with a shit ton having more than 5 scenes AND it has a repeatable pregnancy mechanic. It's like saying Veggietales is gonna be the next Harry Potter lol
If you expect that WaL is actually gonna have named children or any sort of actual kid content beyond "oh we shipped him/her off to a babysitter" you're in for a ride lol.The pregnancy mechanic is SS is completely shit, your baby doesn't even have a face and dissapears after some weeks. You'd be surprised about that actually... but "the good stuff" is reserved foir games with a limited character pool and one time pregnancy. If you expect that WaL is actually gonna have named children or any sort of actual kid content beyond "oh we shipped him/her off to a babysitter" you're in for a ride lol.
No porn game is going to write your kids. Mainly because it would be impossible to write that well.

It's possible to achieve. It could be done by having the option to marry a woman at some point to unlock the pregnancy route and then you can have some quality time with her, some time skips if the devs offer a few stages of pregnancy and another time skip when the baby is there. Basically a larger CG scene that ends in a game over. To prevent people saving during that scene saving should be impossible. You'd be surprised about that actually... but "the good stuff" is reserved foir games with a limited character pool and one time pregnancy.
Still this is not "the impregnator" or something so I am not expecting much anyway.
To be honest, the whole problem is that it's a lot of additional work, which seems to be an issue with pregnancy content in general. Either you make it quick and it'll seem a bit half-assed or you have to spend a significant amount of development time on it, while there's a chance that only few players will actually really appreciate that effort. It's possible to achieve. You are right about that but you can use that argument on several kinks and fetishes. Not everyone likes anal, some people only like M/M content and will be disappointed if WaL might have that later but only a tiny bit and some people want more or less sex in a game.To be honest, the whole problem is that it's a lot of additional work, which seems to be an issue with pregnancy content in general. Hm, I think anal and pregnancy are almost the perfect opposites in this case. To add anal you can just add a scene or two with a few lines to almost every character and it'll be fine. That's a very reasonable effort. You are right about that but you can use that argument on several kinks and fetishes. You can't please them all but you can do have a solid pregnancy system/route which not many games have. Not all will like it but the kink is stronk nowadays so it's a sink to earn money. The way I described how it could be done will "spare" those who aren't into it (just don't marry someone) and reward those who like it. It will consume time and resources, yes, but so does everything else.
Oh, I totally agree and I'm not agianst that at all. I just want(ed) to add why it's not that clear for many who don't actually care that much. I mean, there's surely large number of devs who don't like every fetish they implement. If somebody is really into it, that's great, but for a dev who looks at fetishes he may wants add, pregnancy isn't the most obvious. But that's just my opinion.A game who has futanari as the main focus will devour a lot of time just for that. Why should pregnancy not get a huge spotlight if the devs would like to have that in their game?
You mean in a sexual way, right? I can't imagine Steam going apeshit about games with children if they are just treated like children and not become the fantasy of an abuser.^^'Depicting children in a porn game is a big no-no for Steam. If I were a dev, I wouldn't risk it as having a bunch of babies around doesn't really add anything of value to the game
Just having an underage character showing up on screen in an adult game, even in a wholesome, non-sexual context, will put the game at risk of being deplatformedYou mean in a sexual way, right? Makes me wonder why Steam and Patreon haven't fused yet. They both seem to not be on the bright side and having a fair look into a topic isn't that fun if you can count money as an alternative.Just having an underage character showing up on screen in an adult game, even in a wholesome, non-sexual context, will put the game at risk of being deplatformed
As far as I'm concerned you're doing a fine job so far, if not superb. Cutting time will shave off quality, which is one of the game's selling point. Stick to what you're doing.View attachment 1711766

Hi, everybody.
Before the report, I want to ask everyone to chime in and let us know what you think about the way we release our content. For the last few updates (0.4, 0.5, and the currently in-development 0.6), we've tried to prepare a large amount of content for each release, aiming to either finish a character's story (Myrtle & Rose) or reach important story-points (the Main Story). Content-wise, we're happy with this approach and think the feeling of a satisfactory end is worth the wait. Still, it is undeniable that doing it this way takes a long time.
Some of you would recall that for 0.3 we focused on Holly's first quest only and managed to finish it in half the time we've taken for 0.6 so far. That update had a number of design issues since it was our first side-quest release, and we had a lot to learn, but all the same, Holly's quest-focused (as opposed to Myrtle's story-focused) release could be a model that we may try our hand at again.
What a Legend would be impossible without your support, and so we would love to hear your thoughts about this topic. Do you prefer larger content releases that take several months to prepare, or would you rather have smaller but more frequent content updates?
Anyhow, now the report:
Chestnut:
Last week, Chestnut dedicated all of her work-hours to the sex scenes. She designed them (they require many layers that need to be done in specific ways to allow mesh animation and are some of the most complex artworks she does), drew the base, and the final versions. She also worked a bit more on editing the frames of the already completed animations. A question was asked last time about why we haven't counted edit tasks for her despite her reported editing of the frames, and in case others are curious about the same topic, for most of her tasks (particularly those planned ahead), she counts edits and variations together with her tasks (which is why they are fewer of them done each day).
Pistachio:
I planned to finish two more sex scenes by this report, and I'm about 75% done with that. I did one sex scene and have started a second one, planning to finish it by the end of the weekend. Once done, we will have four of the six sex scenes planned for 0.6. While waiting for the art, I worked on improving the earlier content, edited and debugged some issues, wrote a new dialogue to improve a scene, and coded in a cutscene that was already done, but I hadn't had the time to add it to the game.
Next week's plan:
By the time I'm done with the sex scene I'm currently working on, Chestnut should have prepared the next sex scene. I will try to animate that as well and add it to the game.
Chestnut will continue her work on the sex scenes. I wish we could promise a video or a spoiler image, but I think getting the sexy stuff done as soon as possible is the most important thing right now, and those are not something we can share before the release.
That's all, folks, and please remember to use the comment section to share your thoughts about our approach to releasing content.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Cheers
