I think I understand. Even on the Discord, there are at least 3 questions of "next chapter when?" per day, and Magicnuts rarely talk in the channels. If they do, it's usually short and to the point. It honestly sucks because those people ruin it for the rest of us, and for the devs. They really don't deserve that kind of hate considering the quality of work they put out. I follow quite a few high quality games with long release cycles, and it's mostly the same story everywhere, though people are a little extra toxic here.

As a long time Patron of Magicnuts the reason I don't share the Patreon stuff is because this forum which has been mostly supportive has also been extremely toxic and vitriolic towards them as devs. At the early stages of this game Pistachio would directly comment on people posts almost daily and like pretty much every positive comment that was posted. Now I think they tend to avoid it here because it's always the same people freaking out because the game isn't being developed as fast as THEY want.

You could scroll back many pages and see Pistachio answering things like: Why the development takes a long time, why hiring more people is not the solution to that and if they're unhappy how they are willing to refund someone's Patreon pledge. But let's be real the people complaining about those things, especially the "Devs stealing people's money and not working" people have never put a dollar into the game.

All that being said this is what comes with success, the more people who find the game and love it the more people who come to an anonymous forum and say the most negative, cruel and completely untrue things.
Yeah this, and also I think they want to focus on working on the update, instead of reading comments every day on the forum and wasting time. Once the update is released they will again be active here and on the sites.
Devs actually replied and clarified most of the comments, positives, and negatives both. But near the update release, they don't interact much.

This. Every day I get home from work, log on to catch up, and half the comments in this thread are people pole-vaulting to the conclusion that the game is abandoned because they can't be fucked to read the literal previous comment which answered the last batch of whiners repeating the same bogus claims. That's if they're not just straight-up concern trolling about us poor patrons who apparently are just too stupid to figure out for ourselves that we're being taken for suckers by a team that they're convinced are dragging out releases, never mind said dev team is one of the most diligent and transparent on this entire site. If you point out pieces of evidence that counter their narrative, they won't provide a counter-argument, they'll just passive-aggressively facepalm react and in a month or so reappear to start the cycle all over. They did all this even when somebody was consistently posting the weekly progress reports, so it's not worth my time to take up the slack, so I did it once and then stopped bothering.

hmmmm.....I get the feeling there's a bunch of underage brats playing this that don't have parents who should be doing their jobs to keep them away from porn until they're older.

She'll probably attack him since she doesn't care much for humans and would have no idea the cock she sucked could be attached to such a scrawny wimp until she's beat him down and ripping off his clothes to rape him and recognizes it.
That means they need to add the "Scaroused" tag.

And I, for one, endorse that! :D

How is your complaining about them any better?

Its two sides of the same coin. If you don't want pages of shit, let them complain and don't reply back to their BS and you will have helped the problem.

Two types of commenters every game needs: People complaining about the dev cycle, and people complaining about those people.

don't see how that would help since they are complaining to the developers who barely reply to them when they get like that, and it doesn't stop, so staying silent is no solution, talking about it and being vocal, in hopes that a few understand what they're doing might change a few minds, better than nothing.

I think the issue with releasing content like this is that folks who pay (and those who do not, but feel a sense of self-righteousness), feel like they have some kind of ownership and feel cheated, or disrespected (somehow) when their sense of time, or timeline has been violated. This couple is producing one of the best games on this entire site and in the entire genre. The reason why this game is so good, is because this couple takes forever to develop their content and makes damn sure they only present what they feel is the best representation of their art.

The band Tool has been around since 1990 and they have only released 5 albums. Now regardless of what you think of the band, you cannot fault them for not wanting to produce the best possible piece of art that they feel best represents their talent and message as a band. Other artist release music like magazine subscriptions and it's mostly mediocre. This game has yet to be mediocre and this story seems like it is going to be long and detailed. Give them the license to take as much time as they'd like and support their beautifully crafted game. Don't rush them, or force them into the trap of producing dog shit, because you think their timeline should match yours. This is their hobby, not their career. Even if this is their full time gig, art has no timeline.
