1. no it's not, you can LITERALLY check their discord, LMAO. it never had an expected release date? in march they literally had an entire post addressing backlash they were facing in regard to the length of time it was taken to address the complaints(after it received the long awaited abandoned tag her i believe), who's lying now?
2. "you are lying again" cite your sources. I refuse to give another dollar to them, again, idec about this game anymore at this point. spoiler pics and videos have been circulating for months yeah but there was literally a whole scandal in late fall of last year about one of the videos being AI generated. You can probably find it yourself if you scroll back in these threads far enough but like i said i dont gaf anymore. the fact that i take the time to voice the criticism here is only for to potentially save people from making the mistake of giving them any more money.
3. i'll assume you're a mod on their discord by the way you hogride that last statement. there was literally a period where more than 2 or 3 people spoke their mind on patreon, the messages were deleted, and they went to discord. You can probably still find the logs somewhere unless they were deleted, one of the people's name was bucket. i gotta give magicnuts a round of applause for how well they cover up, or berate anybody that remotely criticizes what theyre doing. continue riding that bandwagon though brother. your dipshit use of your money is your business, least i can do is try to help people not turn into you.
1. They never gave a release date until last month, so no matter what topic they addressed in their posts you didn't tell the truth when you claimed that. Many people were guesstimating when the game would be ready, but all those messages were quickly shut down by devs saying it wouldn't be released soon and telling people they should expect this polishing phase to take longer than usual. There's no single message from devs saying 'the estimated release date is X' until last month. At most, they only promised the update would be out before Christmas. But August or May were just uninformed estimations from other users and not official statements by any means.
2. You said 'there's no proof' of devs actually doing something. My sources to say devs have shown those proofs to their patrons (you'd need to accept screenshots since I'm not a patron and can't send proper links, but people can just browse their Patreon timeline to find these posts and more pics and videos showing actual work):
Also, the AI controversy you mention, I'm not aware of it. If it actually happened in Patreon it never got here or Discord (maybe you are mixing games in your mind?). But anyone following the game and being somewhat familiar with how AI works could easily debunk those claims, so even if this was an actual thing, it can't be called a controversy, just some rando spitting shit out.
3. As I have said multiple times already, I am a Discord mod. I'm not a patron so I can't check patrons' comments on exclusive patron-only posts, but I do know why messages are deleted in Discord (and why users are kicked out of the server). What you call 'people speaking their minds', I'd prefer to define it as 'people insulting patrons and devs, and/or accusing devs of illicit misbehavior with no more proof than their own misinformed, baseless, and half-assed assumptions'. Messages respectfully and politely expressing users' doubts about development are still up, as any follower can attest. If you say devs are milking, or patrons are gullible idiots, you may be speaking your mind but your message will be deleted, that's for sure, because it infringes one of the server's most basic rules: be respectful to others (this also applies to 'defenders' going out of their way to angrily reply perfectly valid negative messages, by the way). But yesterday someone talked about how convenient it is that tasks keep being added daily, and this message was not deleted but replied to. Messages mocking devs for taking so long aren't deleted either (unless they get personal), so saying we'll get GTA 7 before Wal 0.7 is perfectly fine too.
