Thought I would try this game even though it's not usually one that I would play do to it's design. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the whole layout and construction of the game. To me, the story flowed well and was nicely done. I was even more surprised because of the animation. They were done as good and even better than a lot of 3d novel games that I have played. The characters are also done very good.

The ambient sounds are also nicely done. However, I noticed one thing while playing that was irritating. There are static sounds in certain ares and during at least one animation. The sound is like that of a scratched record playing. (ie. old 45's or 78 lp's) which I doubt is in use today.

Maybe, what I am hearing is suppose to be there. Like the crackling of the camp fire during the cave scene with Myrtle & the MC. All the sounds made scence, like when in the water, wolves, ect. If the scratchy sound is suppose to be there I can't figure out what it's suppose to be.

However, I am looking forwaed to your next release.

Hi there, and thanks! I'm glad you've liked the game so far. About the ambient sounds, I don't really hear the scratching you're referring to. But that could be simply because of my hardware. My guess is that whatever you hear is from the original files since they are all in the public domain.

How should I be reading this? Is it new content following on from earlier moments, or is it redone scenes that might require a replay to see?

All of the artworks done recently belong to the 0.5 update.

magicnuts is it possible to help you with game coding?

The coding isn't really the most difficult part (it's what I usually do first and quickest). If it's not at 100%, that's because I need more artwork and posing to be done to finish the remaining tasks. But thank you so much for the offer.

Hi everybody.

This week Chestnut worked on two new backgrounds, completed a new sprite, and designed several new cutscenes from earlier scenes in the game. I am almost done with posing Simmone's content (excluding two cutscenes for which I don't have the art yet and also not counting the animations) and should start posing scenes from the second part of the update from this Monday.
I have prepared a list of new expressions for Simmone, Lana, and the MC that Chestnut will need to make, and she'll work on those next week, in addition to the cutscenes. I will keep posing, testing, and editing the content of the second part of the update.

Now aside from the report, you may not be aware of it, but tomorrow, the first of May, will be the first anniversary of our game's initial release.
I remember clearly how worried we both were, sitting in front of our computers and wondering how everyone would react to what we had made. We had spent all our free time coming up with stories and creating a world that made us happy. We didn't know if others would also be interested in a more joyful and more wholesome take on adult games. To say that we were surprised by everyone's response would be an understatement. The wave of support, encouragement, great suggestions and offers of help and assistance was overwhelming from the first days after the release and has remained strong to this day.
Thank you! Thank you to all of you who've helped and encouraged us.
And especially thank you to all of you who, even though you didn't have to, chose to support us financially in this most difficult of years. Your generosity and kindness is the reason why Chestnut and I wake up every day thinking about the game and trying to make it as good as we can. We have a great community, and I promise you that we'll do everything we can so as not to fail your trust!

P.S. Chestnut considered creating an artwork for the anniversary and even started something, but looking at the number of tasks she has from the game, she decided to stick to the cutscenes since the best birthday gift is making the release as early as possible. We'd like to have a special event for the anniversary, though (even though years don't really pass in our game), so maybe next year!

I congradulate you for your game. It is really well written and executed. Each update is very satisfying ( tying a specific character story ) and sadly for me, makes me wait for the next update eagerly.

If Patreon was just an InvisionFree board with like 30 people on it (god, does InvisionFree even still exist?) I'd agree with you, or if the content they were banning was like, racist hate speech or violent right-wing organizing.

But Patreon makes bank off of our labor, essentially by owning the servers and collecting rents on their use. Meanwhile, they have an iron grip on a huge platform that millions of creators rely on to make their living. A Patreon ban, for a lot of creators on the platform, literally means you're homeless now. Plus, if they'd strictly disalllowed NSFW stuff from the beginning, they would never have made it big as a platform in the first place. This is a pattern that repeats itself in this sector over and over and over: Get rich off of exploiting sex work, expand into non-sex work, then ban sex work once you can make more money without it.

And maybe you disagree with this, but it's my position that fetish art like hypnosis, transformation, teratophilia, etc. are not socially harmful, there's no reason to ban it except to get a better deal from the credit card companies.

See the thing is that Patreon themselves don't actually care about incest, bestiality, or rape. It existed on the site before, I can can guarantee you they'd rather not ban people like Redamz. The issue is they had to make a choice between a portion of the adult creators, and being able to have Paypal as a payment option. They decided the latter was more important, I know I use paypal with Patreon, Im guessing losing it probably would have crippled them after a internal review. Really its the big banks that have an issue with the morality of it. They have an actual war on pornography as goofy as it sounds. ) whose cracking down even more. The banks enforce these rules on all payment processors they work with, thats why you can't use Paypal with Subscribestar. So in reality, while patreon did bend their knee, its the banks that are the actual issue.

And of course, the banks will say they are merely protecting themselves from lawsuits about underage and oher illegal content. They could be considered co-conspirators in illegal activities. It's another reason they stay away from marijuana dispensaries. They may be legal in a given state, but federal statutes can still be brought to bear.

It's amazing the effect this move caused on Pornhub. I, myself was a little surprised how much Traci Lords material there was on PH (for those who don't know her story, after two years in the business, she and her mother announced that she'd just turned 18--she only made one video after turning 18). The thing is, many of the legitimate channels are still without content.

This issue with the banks may be one reason all the modern incest videos are stepfamily stories. "Back in my day," they didn't bother with that. The first of the Taboo movies came out in 1980 and the characters were biologically related, not steps. I still have fond memories of Kay Parker....

Can you do anything out of order in this game where it has ramifications on the storyline and by that I mean, doing so may lock you out of other things?

Like right now, I can tell Holly that Junior is the one who broke into her barn but not sure if I should do so yet because while he was breaking into it, it stated that Junior may be able to teach the MC how to pick locks and I wasn't sure if turning in Junior before possibly learning it from him may actually lock you out of that skill?

Also seen that you can drop and break the crystal ball but haven't done so because wasn't sure what impact it may have on the storyline doing so, if anything other than having its shard in your bag and being able to access it outside your tent, that is?

Worry not. Choices don't really matter in that sense. If you don't tell Holly, you can't progress in the main story. And you'll break the crystal ball either way the next time you touch it (and you'll be doing it sometime because you may want to look at hints or replay content or whatever)

Cool, thanks for the info. Kinda disappointing in a sense but good to know you can't miss anything with this being the case.

Also glad that the game is popular enough that someone responded to my inquiry as quickly as you did as I set the game down until someone was going to respond to it. Now that it's been answered, I can pick back up where I left off.

Gomira having a lot is more surprising considering we've barely seen anything from her so far... can't blame them tho as she is one of my faves as well.

I personally (and I mentioned that a million times by now lol) love all of the women we have in the game so far but I think my personal favourites would be Rose, Gomira, Gretta and Madeline. Really looking forward to these 4 in specific. Can't wait for the other beauties to get their respective questlines as well!

One of the best games out there.
I could even play it without the H-scenes
and man the comedy is top notch lmao
didn't really like most of the current H-scenes thou not cuz they're bad just not enough, minus the woodcuter wife there's not much action with the other girls.
Serana scene was superb but the whole image thing was kind of a turn off for me. Can't wait for action with REAL Serena.
anyway great game and i will be waiting for future updates..
