Ended the update...and man, that's some good shit.
It actually took those 2,5 - 3 hours to finish. And i must say... Lana may be the new best girl? Damn, if she doesn't rule the kingdom at the end instead of the spoiled princess i would be suprised...

1) I like that those games break the stereotype of the "asshole guards". Between What a Legend and Four Elements Trainer we get to see that most of those poor souls and their thankless jobs are good people. Shit, Kevin, Wedge and Biggs are good people, they would like the Fire Nation soldiers and Earth Kingdom ones Spread the good guy guard love

2) Second...damn if chestnut can draw some gorgeous stuff. I ain't even talkin about the elven tiddies (cause those are drawn fabulous as well). Nah, im talking about the wonderful and majestic maps, landscapes and backgrounds, interiors of building...it's good enough to make them my desktop wallpaper (with a little file browsing, i did). And the main city/village map could fly at any point and click adventure game.

3) Cursed mansion and it's content. Man, you came for the tiddies, you stayed for the adventure.

Kinda sucks we gonna probably wait another 6 months to return to our hero's journey, but i'll be waiting. To quote Kurt Angle: It's true. It's damn true!

She was obviously shocked after seeing he got her ghost eye. She's a 400 years old elf but still a traumatized person due to her brother's wrongdoing, and her first thought was that MC had just stolen/replicated her gift with some dark, sex-based magic he was keeping in secret he could perform, which in her desperate state of mind leads her to wonder if the ring could have been also stolen and then she just goes full paranoid. I guess the MC not having the ring anymore also helps to her psychotic burst as it fits with the spy theory. I don't see the plothole, it's just a plausible characterization for a person with some unsolved mental issues.

exactly, and you guys all forgot the falling-from-the-tree-into-cursed-mansion thing. How comes anyone who dared to do that just to gain trust/to lie?

she's just still extremely traumatized and the MC really didn't know what's he doing, that's all

Lana is the drunken beggar elf with the eye patch. not much of her in the first post but you met her fairly early in game.

Hey guys so im playing the pc version with crossover (mac app thats lets you allow to run pc games) and i cant seem to see any scenes. For example when i go into the gallery and choose a scene the game keeps crashing. No matter what i do it keeps crashing. any help?

It's probably because of this emulator you're using, because the scenes might be stored separately from the game files and the game is trying to access them

I started the game again yesterday because I had lost the saves from the previous version and I ve haone question:
Did petting the foxes in the forest exist in the previous versions? I don't remember that at all.

That was last update. It doesn't do anything yet, don't know their plans for the animals other than you won't be able to fuck it.

magicnuts : I completed the update. The following wants to be a brutal-honest feedback from a non-supporter.

I really appreciated the writing. Really. Some nice puns here and there, as usual the nice achievement, and same goes for the animation quality. From my point of view, though, I still see two things that could be have been made better:

1. the h-scenes: post-orgams you never see MC pulling out, there's no option to "go again", no option to change position in scenes that would allow it (like myrtle at the end in her room iirc)
2. this is the biggest concern: content amount. The game gets updated every six months or so. Quality is high, but quantity is low. I'm not saying that you guys aren't working enough. But you probably need more personnel or better management to really deliver the content that one would expect in six months of work. Your betatesters said it would take 3-5 hours? That's because you have to go through all the previous content to not have bugs.

Take into account that I DO NOT KNOW your personal situations, but assuming that this game is your full time job, you need to step up with quantity. I watch the crystal ball, see how many scenes there are atm for the current cast of characters and how many you planned and I can't convince myself that the next five years will be enough for you to complete them. If I look at the global map and imagine the cast that could come out from a story that is rich in the same amount for every location, then, with this rythm, you'll be working for your entire lifetime on this game.

You can't take six months to pass from "zero" to 2-3 penetration scenes for only one character (plus 3-4 BJ/TJ/etc scenes distributed around). You won't ever complete this game for real, unless you want to reduce all the following interactions to threesomes/foursomes etc, checking the same event for multiple characters with the same scene in a massive amount.


The following wants to be hopefully of help, I do not mean to disrespect or give the impression that I know more than you do about your business. I just hope to give possible hints to make your business more successful:

At the end of the day, I have eyes too and can see that your business is going well, but is still nowhere close to something that can settle you for life. Your income through patreon gets reduced a lot by the platform itself, taxes and it has to be distributed through team members, which makes it hard to hire more people. Still, other, very similar games, like SS have a solid userbase and income, and let me tell you that your game is not inferior in anything compared to them. Something has to change in the business model imho, to lead to more profits, hardware, people and then content.

For example, if you watch their release history, you can see that their MVP was version 0.07, and from version 0.01 they basically did a release per month without any real content, then moved to 2 months releases with some content, then after a year they started pushing big updates, that sometimes lack new content to rework old content.

The questions that I would ask myself is why do so many people support a game that has nothing better than mine, when I can clearly see that mine is more appreciated by my followers? (that pay roughly almost double per person compared to what SS followers are up to pay DC)

I'm not saying that money has to drive this project. Passion is the strongest fuel. But I'd like to see it completed, fully and properly, before I become the next Sev.

Honestly this is what has been bugging me. The quality of art is always great, and there is an intrinsic limit to how much art one person can do regardless of budget, but it's also completely unrealistic to expect this game to finish development in even half a decade considering how massive their scope seems to be, at least with this pace.

Summertime Saga has been in development for...what, half a century now? It's still barely just finished the main story, and the prom that was supposed to be the actual ending still hasn't come, though to their credit they seem to have bettered their pace this last year.

The animals... but not a furry character :v. Maybe the fox mommy is another spirit of the enchanted forest that'll seek MC as a prospect of human worthy or her attentions (if u know what i mean :v) if MC treat her child and her with kindness... Just imagination, but as you state we'll see.. In the same category i have that tree... I believe she must be some kind of dumb nymph who still don't dominate how to hide properly X'D.

Yeah it's annoying how good it is at that. Wanting to progress with all of them but knowing it'll be this time next year for some sucks, but it is what it is, we can't magic up more art without time travel and i've only figured out how to go forwards less than a second at a time so far.

To be fair, Rump's character was made a bit before he became president and his character works well even if somebody has no idea who he actually is.

As for WaL!, I'm pretty sure that it'll last about as long as SS, simply because one human being can only draw so much content in a day, a month, a year, etc. and the scope seems to be somewhat comparable.
Then again, WaL! won't have to deal with all of the growing pains SS had and still has to go through. Ultimately DC "wasted" about ~1,5 years before he started to take the game (which was never really supposed to be a game in the first place) seriously and that still shows and causes additional work. WaL! on the other hand won't have to deal with any of these problems...
