I told you after last release - the next release will be after 1 year. No one believed. This 2D type of games in 2023 doesn't worth waiting 1 year. People are ready to pay 60-140 $ per year to get update with 1-2 characters. If you plan to release 1 update per year, at least make 1 scene per character. If I was dev of this game with 7.000 per month, I would hire workers to do separate stuff. I think devs choose hard way to work with this game, otherwise I have no other idea why it takes so long. I think 1 animate scene and plot with 1 character takes 1 month to develop. So at least I expect 12 animated scene, but I have bad thoughts it is not even gonna happen. Imagine waiting scenes for your fav character 3 years because other character in queue.

Now about positive things =
- Nice scenes for 2D game
- Fair that there is no 20 $ ABOVE pledge in Patreon
- Beautiful arts
- Interesting story

Nope, I was using the Android port listed in the main post
Unless something changed, they should be compatible then, have you tried another save?
(If you don't have another manual one, try an auto save).

Yeah, I tried multiple of the manual, auto and quick saves. All gives this same error of "no module named revertable".

You understand the game releases for FREE? As in the Dev actually give it for free, not just someone pirates it.

While I agree with your sentiment, and frustration, and I would add that the scope of this game is ridiculous in a very BAD way*, it really isn't that easy. Firstly, hiring someone to work on any project is hard, more so when it is 'Adult' themed. You have to worry about pay, quality, reliability, work culture compatibility and since this project is artistic in nature, artistic compatibility. After all, if you're going to hire someone, you want to hire a person who BRINGS something to the table, not just a human robot to draw and code for you. Then you run into the problem of laziness. People with drive and talent tend to be workign on their own projects. Some you probably can only find a worker with one or the other. Not ideal.

All that being said, I do feel like the game's development is going to slowly peter out, and that's on the Devs. i know they just had a kid, but that's just an excuse. We've all got our dependents and our priorities. This is clearly a major revenue stream for them, but it's treated like a hobby. I do wish them the best of luck and much success though.

While on the surface this sounds like a great problem to have, it means the game will A never ever ever be finished, because it's not like the main plot is chugging along, is it? And B, no one can keep track of more than ten love interests. There's no point to more than ten. There aren't ten distinct personalities to have. So pretty soon are just having LI for the sake of numbers.

A better system would be to focus on just ONE area, say Old Capital and maybe new Capital for the climax (hehe I'm funny). The capital of a given nation is likely to be the most diverse anyway, it usually has representation from all the major groups (races in this case) living there. If you really need to, you could have there be a demonic quarter, a water quarter, etc etc. Just like there's Little Italy and Chinatown on many major urban hubs (in the USA). This lowers development time, so we don't need a rather superfluous entire new city, which has to be hand drawn, which takes fucking forever.

I think the different cities are all for one girl, so every girl has a different city.

Can you upload one of your saves here, I can try to load it on my version, and we can see if it is the game or the save.

Because TheDevian laught about it, I meant, that we don't get to visit every city, except for a quest of one of the girls. So the mermaid story, is just one girl in a underwater city. In v0.6 we went to a hell house in another city, just for one quest.

But we will see...

Yeah, I agree, that is most likely the case, though I hope we will be able to return to them, and have things to do at some point. ;)

I am afraid to say that it crashed for me too. So yeah, either the android ones are not the same any more, or there was some other issue, like a mod.

Hi, everybody.
I hope you're all doing well and have had a fantastic week. Here's a summary of our progress:

Chestnut:
Last week, Chestnut completed four cutscenes; three from the first quest and one from the second quest. I have used placeholder art for the cutscenes corresponding to Gomira's first quest, and I'm excited to replace them with the final artwork while making any necessary text/posing adjustments. Additionally, Chestnut finished creating the artwork for 0.7's five achievements. She recorded the drawing process for two of them, which I shared here.

Pistachio:
I have completed Gomira's first quest, including all sprite dialogues and some optional convos. To enhance the impact of the ending, I spent a day adding sound effects and making subtle adjustments to the text and posing. I aso encountered a few bugs caused by changes in the usage of a Renpy displayable from an earlier event and fixed them.

Next week's plan:
Chestnut wants to continue working on cutscenes, focusing on completing the ones already started.
I plan to:
  • Replace the placeholder images with the final artwork.
  • Export and play through Gomira's first quest in its entirety multiple times for thorough testing.
  • Begin preparations for posing and editing Gomira's second quest.
  • Begin posing the second quest, if possible.

Have they ever mentioned how many quests the update is going to be? As having one finished quest after nearly 11 months is almost reaching Dark Cookie levels of sloth.

so maybe we'll get the update at the end of the year? Then Holly should get another quest line, which will probably come at the end of 2024 or beginning of 2025 under these development conditions. This means that the main quest about Serena and Lana (if it is continued afterwards) will not continue until 2026 at the earliest.
