please don't forget those dev's are two persons and accounting to salary websites average salary in spain for a python programmer is 52k euro per year and for the graphic designer it's 62k per year, so their "salary" is average

Salary might be average but theyre doing nowhere near as much work as they are, they do nothing for 2 years and have been getting paid for it. Maybe if people started cancelling their subscription then they might actually do some work and get the update done

To be fair are there many 2D art games to compare WaL to when referencing similar content cadence with full large robust updates? 2D seems like a dying breed, and the only one I know of with a very nice content cadence was Paradise Lust which had a full team 9 to 5ing it professionally.

To say nothing of the fact that PL is one of the only other fully rendered (ie., not RPGMaker) 2dCG porn games with actual quality art that looks good. I've tried many others and these two just stand in a league of their own.

I really like this game and I play it with great pleasure every time. I know that probably the next update will appear in about a month or two. I see so so many commenting about the upcoming update and many who say that the game has a good future. Personally I don't find it attractive anymore and I'm losing interest, for a game that needs more than six months to play a new update. The game must be too brilliant to have patience for a new update eight months maximum. From my perspective, unfortunately the game is already dead... I don't want to be the one to bring the bad news, but do you realize that it will probably take another 2-3 years for another update, and until the game is complete it will probably take another 10 updates or 20 years to develop the story of all the characters, including the main story. The chances for the developer to devote so much time to finish the project are extremely small.
