What about a porn game using celebrity fake pics?

There are sites like cfakes and kfapfakes for kpop stuff. There is a huge number of pics that could be used to make some sort of story arc. You can pad those with non faked pics. I'm picturing a simple game where you enslave/MC/mind break the celebs one by one.

I guess there is legal issues with stuff like this. Are celebrity fakes even legal? If its legal to fake those pics, it should be ok to use them in a game?

edit: I should note that I am not making such a game. I don't know how and don't feel like it anyways. it was just an idea I had that might be a pretty cool concept for a game.

Even if it's illegal, does someone (read celeb or lawyer) even cares about it unless you make a lot of money or fame with it?

I mean just google "celeb name + fake" and you get links and pics already, even more on other search engines. "Hentai-art" pages are full with it too, and "fanfics" are more often than not just porn with famous people.

I think you're on safer ground legally if you use art or 3dcg rather than photofakes. Additionally, changing names to the extent people still know who you're talking about but it's not their actual name--Linden Lohman,e.g., instead of Lindsay Lohan--is another way to create a little defensible breathing space for creativity.

I think Patreon would care.

I just hoped that the OP is smart enough to not try to make money with a bunch of pictures which will violate a ton of copyrights. Even the most strict company like Disney or Nintendo don't give a fuck unless you "make a lot of money or fame".

See all the Mario and Pokemon fan games, and one of the few that got law issues was "Pokémon Uranium" after everyone and their mother was like "hey Nintendo look how awesome this game is". So basically don't be greedy/ retarded (also counts for your fans) and you can do whatever.

IANAL:
Fair Use usually allows for parody use, and even if that won't apply - by making a fake you're taking 2 (or more) pictures and turning it into something new, that may be transformative enough to grant you (some) copyrights to the fake.

Also the celebrities usually don't own the rights to the pictures they are on, it's the photographers, agencies or whoever payed for the photo shoot that own the rights... y'know, the kind of people that will pay paparazzo - in other words scumbags who will happily drag anyone to court for a few bucks, or at least threaten to do so for profit.

You could get in trouble, but you could also be hit by a meteor. Both are about as likely.

There are Daz3d characters modeled after certain celebrities. Most of them I don't even recognize, but some are impressive. But if you were to do celebrity look-alikes, or some kind of deepfake thing, I would think there aren't many quicker ways of getting your ass booted off just about any pay service, whether it's Patreon or whatever else. If you did an enslavement thing with them I think Patreon would literally explode.

Most likely. I think the Solomonic approach is to create characters with a passing resemblance to celebrities and change their names a bit. The mom in Big Brother looks a bit like Mariska Hargitay, for example.
I'm sure that more than a few 3d models are at least loosely based on real life people, some of them celebs.

I discovered that when people play my VR game, they sometimes download and install mods to make the antagonist look like various celebrities. I was shocked, and appalled. Who would do that? The player is getting a blowjob from their girlfriend, they put on the goggles, and pretend it's Emma Watson. I could never condone doing this, but I can't control what other people are doing. It's not a built-in feature of the game, those pesky modders did it.

Likely very illegal, and even if it's not you can still be buried by lawsuits. IF you get noticed. Akabur managed to rip off Disney properties and he is still around, but real people are a bit different, so... Don't hit it big and you should be fine.
