What appeals to you in porn games besides the porn?

I've actually been curious for a while now because although I know porn games are mostly made for the sake of porn, there are a good couple games in the NSFW area that have appealed to me. Games where I've actually found myself skipping scenes to be more invested in the story, or like the challenge of the gameplay. Ones where while the porn is either okay or great, I still get hooked to the rest of the game, and where it feels more of something I can enjoy playing rather than just search online for CG galleries or 100% saves.
And if you want, you can also reply things you don't find appealing at times in porn games too, along with the options you did choose. I'm just curious is all about what a lot of people are more drawn to or disinclined to try.

When the Flash generation was in, I was a huge fan of Nerghal and Sexums. Nerghal really plotted out his games and cared about the production to produce two really good ones. I think only Urban Demons is on the site and I forget the other one. Sexums had Simply Mindy which turned into a full game RPG and plenty of endings to work through as it was being worked on. Plenty of replay. Before that was Soo Cubus and for a small game that had you do repetitive tasks, there was a lot of thought put into how to get mileage out of everything.

I put story because Nergal put a LOT of thought into how his stories worked and made the games compelling.

Sexums gave a lot of variety to the story to look into which added replayability.

I've found a few stories like that nowadays such as Pale Carnations but always enjoy stories like Eternum which make it more interesting to learn the characters involved far more than just the porn.

Maybe it's just me, but I put story as something I like.

A dev can have the best renders and animation but if the story sucks then you just have a CG collection.

you can fuck up the plot as long as it sounds funny
But fucking up gameplay makes for a torterous experience that causes you enough petty rage to just dont hard at all
same for gameplay loops, a majority of porn games have god awful cycles
Hell, some just lack gameplay all together, clicking on the "talk" and "next day" button isnt gameplay

I like real games, not glorified cg galleries, so in my opinion:

Porn game dev must be able to marry the 'porn' and the 'game' well.
Porn game dev must not play favorites with 'primary pillars' and provide them all equal attention.

For a porn game there are three 'primary pillars' in my opinion:
*Gameplay. (If there is no gameplay, there is no game.)
*Story. (Because everyone likes to know what is happening, and why it's happening. Unless you're Lerd0 and for your sake i hope you're not.)
*Porn. (Because we're all horny monke to our very core (unless born a prude) thus porn will always provide extra fun.)

I find humour to be one of the most important factors for me in deciding if I'm gonna play a game from start to finish. I can suffer through bad gameplay if the writing is good enough to keep me interested (specially if the art is appealing).

And by humour I don't mean that you need to have jokes in your game in order for me to play it, but if you do have them and they don't seem fit the game's theme or characters, you might as well not have them at all.

Honestly, I preferred Doujins and Hentais more than the Porns, because they felt more real even though they were not. The story and build-up were all more natural compared to some porn actress moaning on your monitor screen and dude fucking her trying to dirty talk which you heard in multiple other porn. Games make this tier higher and give us interaction over it, making it better. I don't appreciate the milking process in games tho, so everything has its negatives.
