What are the best tutorials for either Ren'py or RPGMaker; to learn about them and develop a better literacy with them?

Tutorials from the basics to the nuanced secrets and quick bits.

Ren'Py has a basic tutorial in the software itself. and i'm sure you can get help from members over here as well, if you get stuck. also...youtube

Ren'Py's built-in interactive tutorial is all you need to get started. Any specific question you have after that can be answered on this forum as well as

Best advice for Ren'Py is to thoroughly read the Ren'Py manual (as it seems almost no one does this before asking how to learn)

The main reason for doing this is because the syntax for Ren'Py is so easy to understand/learn that you can definitely get a base game started by casually going over the documentation a few times and trying what you learn.

Also the Lemmasoft forums are the official forums for Ren'Py support, with the creator having thousands of posts answering questions. Also be sure to checkout the Ren'Py cookbook sticky if you do head that way.
