Hello friends, lately i have an idea for doing my own game more precisely a mature visual novel but right now i don't have an idea in what software i will do it.
so i want to ask what are the pros, cons and differences between TyranoBuilder, VN Maker and of course Renpy besides being a free software or not

Thanks

I haven't tried tyranoBulder or VN Maker to give you a comparison, but Ren'Py is easy enough to use. You just need a drop of python knowledge, and you're set. Render some images, type some lines, boom! Game finished.

But seriously, Ren'Py is super easy to use. It's unbelievably easy to pick up. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a comparison like you asked for, but I'd encourage you to use Ren'Py.

P.S. There's even a basic scripting tutorial included within the Ren'Py installation to get you started.

Tyrano is pretty easy to use and no real scripting needed.

Renpy is bit a bit harder but free and you can do more with it.

Another thing to consider is that Ren'Py games cannot be played via browser.

But there are limitations in the online version as you can't add any audio or video in it. is pretty similar but in it you can add anything. They managed to make online versions of heavy asset games like Melody, Dreams of desire etc

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.
