What do you expect in an Adult Game in general ?

Personnaly i would say that i'm looking at 5 important points :

1) the most important one for me : is it going to awake my little Best Friend, in other words : will it give me enough lust to fap ?

some games are very well rated and their respectiv dev can sure make a good living with them. +800 patreons more or less 2400 $/month, i'm not the jealous type, and i'm very happy for them...

But seriously guys, are you able to fap on mozaic Japanese games or on 2D drawing games such as for example DickMon X ?






Here i mean no offense, it's rated 4 Stars already, sorry guys but this kind of stuff lets my little snake in a very deep sleep, and it 's really not my cup of Tea...

The complete oppsosite example for me is Desert Stalker or Dark Neighborhood

In terms of drawings, if i must keep just one i would say Urban Demons, which on my opinion needs a 3D version rebirth with Daz or Blender renders.

2) what about the story ? is it that same old story of a teenager going to school, seducing his sister and mom (with the incest content) ?.
F95 has already 800 games like that and with really great and awesome content .

ICSTOR since his very first game or LewdLab i'm a really a great Fan of you guys, and your reputation with your work doesn't need me for a further push...

What about fetichism : is there some corruption, mind control, close ups ? threesome content ?

3) is it animated ?, has music and / or sound effects ?

4) how is growing the MC ? has the game a leveling content or is it just a novel ?

5) how does progress the game ? do you have to wait 6 months or one year to see to next update ?

i'm registrered since 2018, since then i never gave any opinion about the other games, and if i had i probably would have left

I expect a good story, gameplay that is fun and satisfying to play and not just a clickfest, characters that are well build with actual arcs (not typical young man who is horny and who happens to have no father and one hot stepmother and a town of horny hotties) and a good ending where everything cums together

Besides the obvious things, I expect some grinding, i know this sounds odd, but if i don't get to "earn" the rewards, i just don't feel like the games does much for me, i want to be immersed, i want the grinding to not be boring, but i want to earn the rewards, otherwise it just feels like a suboptimal version of watching porn.

Now about the topic of this thread...

1. Theme/Story
The most important thing to me is if the theme/story caters to me. All the other points are rendered useless if this first point isn't satisfied. It doesn't matter if a game has the best 3D renders I've ever seen. If the story is about something I have no personal interest, then hard pass. This point will wildly vary from person to person, so it's also the hardest for a developer to get.

2. Effort
Now this may sound strange to some, but a game becomes more appealing to me if I see the author gave it a lot of effort. Sometimes I'll find games that really nails all the themes and fetishes I'm looking for, but it mostly uses stock assets that you can find in every other game. This completely ruins the experience for me, as I start to lose faith in the developer's commitment to the project.

3. Sandbox
When I say sandbox, I'm not referring to the VN Sandbox we see so often in this site. I'm talking about games that encourage the player to experiment with its mechanics. Karryn's Prison is my best example of this type of experimentation with full on battle fuck mechanics that encourages you to try and see what happens if you allow certain things to happen. Mechanics such as being able to remove your clothes and seeing the NPCs reactions are game changers for me.

4. Art
No need for an explanation.

To answer your question, I expect nothing. This permit me to have more good surprises than bad ones.

I'm serious when saying this. 90% of the games come from indies devs who do this on their free time, while having never wrote, drawn/rendered, nor coded before. There's nothing to expect, both in terms of lewd, story, quality and quantity. Not because all are necessarily bad, but because even them don't know yet what they skills effectively are.

But if there's really one thing that I don't expect, it's a hard on. Of course, some situation are exciting, some models are good looking, but it's really exceptional that I get more than a semi, because all this is just pixels. Games are there to set the mood, not to trigger a release. And there isn't a single game specifically designed to make you hard that I personally find interesting. They goes for the most basic story, full of cliché, and for me there's nothing that looks more like a turn off than this.

If you, as a dev, decide to talk about how shitty other projects are, you better be prepared to receive the same critiques.

Japanese mosaics exist because of the law over there, and people whose been fapping to hentai and JAVs for years/decades will not even see the mosaic. So yea, you can fap to it just fine. That DickMon game is a parody of Doraemon, a very old anime. It's trying to emulate the art style of the source material, so it has that peculiar look to it. And that's fine. Simpsons games, Amity Park, Ben 10 stuff, Something Unlimited, etc etc, they all try to evoke the original art style to some degree.

Then let's look at your game. I'm assuming it's that Ares Revenge game. I played it when it first came out and dropped it in 5 minutes. It was amateur work with terrible English, grainy renders, and absolutely mind numbingly boring gameplay loop. It wasn't fappable in the least even thought the kinks in that game line up perfectly with mine.

I know this thread was probably made to advertize your game indirectly, but maybe refrain from singling out other games to talk about how bad they are.

Is it really necessary to talk about his own game ?

I mean, he wrote that ICSTOR is a good creator, and have a great reputation, while even his RPG Maker games are cheap and full of bugs the instant you don't strictly follow what he had in mind. This is enough to tell the reader that he is far to have a good taste, what will necessarily be seen in his own creation.
