what games do y'all think have a great story/writing?

I quite enjoy this genre of games, but I've had issues lately of some stuff with lackluster plot to go along with it's "plot", and I'm a sick bastard who actually plays these in large part for the story (if I don't care about the characters why should I care about the sex)

What games do y'all think actually have quite good writing or story?

1. Princess Tower - sadly pretty firmly abandoned at this point. It is an excellent game though. Everything about the story flows together really nicely. It helps that the story and the gameplay worn together instead of detracting from one another.
2. Demon Deals - Breadman gets slow burn corruption in a way few other writers seem to.

being a dik (i havent played since start of season 2 but season 1 was amazing)

Black Souls and it's sequel are the best games here in terms of writing (and gameplay as well). It's best experienced blind.

I remember playing that game a while ago and nothing about the writing stuck out to me. Then again, I'm not a fan of slice of life/school dramas.

Crimson gray and Nekopara both have censored versions that people literally play for the plot. i also think teaching feeling is very good, though the story is small in scope.
