What if I have an I idea for a game?

I've been looking around for some niche games types and character development ones across the internet and I found only few that can truly satisfy me.
They usually and mostly end up the grindy type.
However, The thing is I have an idea for a game that is based on parody, in my opinion, it can be really good, yet nobody even came even close to the idea of developing something even close or similar.
So I've written some of the story myself because I wanted to put my erotic thoughts on paper, however I am not a game developer, nor I have the time to learn how to make a game because I am mostly busy in real life. So the question here is, how would it be possible to share my idea with developers who might be interested and discretely to prevent "copy right infringement xD" or whatever you'd like to call it, and potentially make this game a reality?

Ren'Py is really easy to learn. I am not a fan of Python, but Ren'Py makes programming in it extremely easy for VNs.

You also need to figure out what you want to do for art. You can requisition art for 2D, you might be able to for 3d as well? not sure. This way, your idea stays safe in your brain. But it's going to cost you, artists aren't cheap.

I can tell you my story. That might help:

I started playing these games some time ago and at some point i said to myself "I can do this too" and most importantly "I could do this better". I also have a big idea that I believe will be successful. So i started looking for a dev team on the R95 recruitment site. After 1 year of trying to join teams, i got frustrated. As if its wierd to produce porn online with strangers. I just couldn't find anyone who fit my way of working and shared my creative views. That's when I decided to do it alone.
But I can't program and I can't write.
Still I could draw, which made the beginning a little less daunting.

I made some cheap Renpy fun demos to learn the basics (just try it, its fun and not that hard). After that I decidet to start with a smaler project. I still have my big game idea, but atm I would mess it up, it would suck and it wouldn't work the way I envisioned. Becuase im a newbie and Because game development is difficult. I'm now 6 months into my beginner project and have learned to love it.

Can't wait to use all the things I've learned for my "Magnum Opus".

I'm sure a lot of the V0.1 games on the front page, with tons of bugs and lousy art and even worse text, are ideas from someone who also "knows how to do it better".


Tl:dr Start slow start small, or you'll screw it up.

I mean no offense by saying this, but rarely is there an idea that's so good that other people will scramble to rip it off. You might notice that many developers do "devlogs" where they not only talk about the game they're designing, but simultaneously show how they solved some of the more difficult problems.

There's no end to ideas out there. The problem in game development is all the hard work that goes into an idea to make it a game. Most of the time, the final game is very different from the original concept.

The Halo franchise is a good example, and there are many other games like it which started one way and ended up being very different.

What makes a game successful is execution more than anything else. There are plenty of games with a generic idea like "guy wakes up with amnesia 18 years after he got a girl pregnant and now girls show up at his door" or "guy comes back to live with his family whom he hasn't seen in years". The best of those games are the on es that are done well. The idea is arguably the same.

Thank you for the motivation and everything said. I know how to draw which is good, and I also have a good idea on how to develop a game since I am in the CS field. the only problem is time. I work alot and I really need the free time I get.

The concept of my game is already half and if not more than half done, because it is a parody, so the only challenge is implementing the sexy stuff into that parody.

Yep, I totally agree. And I understand that reality does not always comply with imagination since we are limited with the tools that we have. yet, some altered details are okay, the important part is that the overall concept pushes through.


Anyways, I might have not been clear from the beginning about the implementation and the process of going forward. I do not really want to "hire" a team for this project. But call it from a naive enough perspective, I would like to share the whole concept of the parody with a team that will take all the credit for doing the work, I do not even care about having my name in the credits... all I care about is seeing a project like that pulling through and actually implementing the game to create it.
And if anything, I would even subscribe in something like patreon to support the team that is making it happen.

the mc did Go out To camp and he saw wolf in his first night the wolf did nothing only Toke some meat from the mc icebox
next day mc didn't want to risk to meet again with death eyes so he did go to his car and try it to start the engine nothing
his Stuck his car Leaking oil
he got back and decide to camp in other place where he close to water
and he heard the wolf Sound of cry he shivers and Cover his head to sleep next day tought it's time for him to leave this area Gathering his stuff he hear Grrrr Behind him he look the wolf there looking to his eyes he tought to open the icebox give him meat but the wolf had other idea he jump attaking him bite his leg the mc toke a rock hit the wolf head Surprisingly enough he let go and run the mc looked it his leg the idea of leaving this place now far away he treated his leg
