How many games are updated each day? Between new games and new content.
If I stay 1 week away from this forum I'd have hundreds of potential threads to open and check every single one by myself. Colossal waste of time. No, lastest update UI is much better to cover that ground, it does it better already.
Also your suggestion not only increases the time needed to acquire info, but now you're suggesting to enter every thread to read and check the pics, which can lead to the exact same problem. I don't want to see male on male pictures. I also don't want nonporn awful games spam. Screw that.
Besides if I wanted to use the research function to do the same thing as latest updates, I'd simply use latest updates. It just makes no sense.

Yes, lesbian is gay, but it's no straight man find it disgusting quite the contrary, it's arousing. As I've mentioned other sites (pretty much every single major one) that uses this, lesbian is categorized as standard content included on straight banner.
By definition, gay is any relationship between same sex, but in reality, straight men only find it revolting when it's male on male.

Sorry this forum has never been about nonporn games. The vast majority of users don't care. If these games were any good, they would stand out by themselves at any platform, including here with those modifications.

Lastly there are several forms to include this. One could be a pre research based on account. So if someone wants to ban a specific category, it would only affect themselves. Another solution, certain content images that include the gay tag, would be automatically blocked unless the user allows it on his personal settings or something similar.

There are many ways to do it. My suggestions seek to improve the current system, so the people who don't want to be spammed with useless content won't be, or feel revolted by unwanted content.
Your suggestion adds extra navigation time and doesn't solve the problem at all. On top of wasted time, the way the research works, it will completely remove a tag, which can potentially be a bad thing, because like I said, some times the problem isn't with the tag, it's on the developer. So one person may not want some types of "gore" but find other types of "gore" more acceptable. In order to know which is which, one requires to have as much UI info as possible in the blink of an eye, and then make the decision.
Completely removal tag only works to really, really despised personal preferences, but anything in between would suffer due the limited UI. It doesn't solve any problem.
