I see your point but I feel it is heavily dependent on whether the game focuses on non-penetrative sex or not. Something titled "Titty fuck island: paradise of large tits" I would not expect any penetration and would still play as long as I got tit fuck scenes, but instead if I got "Extinction: Breed your family for humanity" and didn't get any penetration for 18 updates I'd be upset because I'm not getting what I expected.Games with no penetration. It's like some people don't find anything arousing until they see something go inside a vagina.
It’s a two-way street, if developers don’t extend the courtesy of being honest about the nature of the content they intend to make, especially when they are asking for support, then they can hardly expect courtesy in return. While I often feel that some members of this site lash out irrationally about fetishes they dislike, I believe developers should be more transparent about communicating the presence of sensitive fetishes in their games. From my experience, more than 90% of the "fetish hate storms" stem from players surprised by a sensitive fetish, often in a game they are already invested in.
Yes, in a perfect world such players should act maturely and simply ignore the game if they dislike it but since this world is not perfect, developers should ensure that sensitive fetishes are communicated as clearly as possible, as early as possible.
