I just checked realdoll and it's terrible. It looks like an ugly doll with a motor slammed into it and voila we call it a sex robot
But I guess it depends on what you're looking for.
For me, we're a long way from something that's not just a lame gadget. I'd say it'll be at least 20 years before we get the first decent stuff.

I've seen a lot of Ai and chatbot projects and tried out a few of them and they seem entertaining for atleast 30 minutes then it starts to drag. And with how things are looking at the moment I don't really think Ai is going to get a whole lot better than this, their won't be any big leaps like we've seen in the last few years, things are going to move in smaller and smaller increments an hype will die down because of that. At least that is my prediction in the next year or two.
