What kind of MC do you prefer/dislike?

Worst type of MC: Immature, Alpha/Beta sterotype, Lacking in common courtesy.

Developers for some reason just dont know how to make a normal ass dude lmfao go figure...degens.

My favorite protagonist type is the 20 something year old with a cold stare that knows what he wants and doesn't relent to outside pressure. Someone that is young (20-29), but also has the wisdom of a sage, but at the same time as perverted as an old anime guy. If he sees an opportunity, he takes it. He doesn't wait.

I like intelligent, ambitious but also lewd protagonists. Who are generally morally good or neutral (eg no awful rapist protagonists, no weirdly misogynistic protagonists - though I am more open to mad scientist or supervillain protagonists if they can be the 'nice' kind of 'evil'). And who have goals beyond just sex.
I tend to dislike overly sexually naive protagonists, dumb protagonists and evil awful protagonists.

My ideal protagonist would probably be something like a lewd witch girl trying to discover the secret to immortality and having a lot of sex along the way.

I like relatively hard corruption done to bitchy female characters that at least know what sex is. I don't like male MC unless he's primarily / exclusively driven by a desire to corrupt, so his actions line up with my priorities. I don't really self-insert.

Just give me consistent MCs. It doesn't matter what he/she does or says (because it will depend on the genre), but their actions should at least be somewhere in the ballpark of "believable given the circumstances, personality, and available information." Yes, it's a very generous criteria that let's them do shit for porny, metagame reasons, but plenty of devs can't even achieve the bare minimum of believability.

some stories work best with a young and dumb mc, some other stories with a conqueror. neither works if you switch the mcs.

I like a MC who's an experienced adult, who's a good guy that treats everyone else well unless they really screw him over, who's super horny and looking to fuck at the drop of a hat with just about anyone, who's not possessive about his relationships and is cool with anyone he's with having sex with multiple partners, and who gradually develops into a complete badass stud as the game progresses from start to finish.

I don't want a guy who's an asshole to people, especially without good reason. Who wants to hurt people, especially women. Who's focused on revenge or retaliation. Who wants to dominate others, and doesn't treat them as equals. Who's naieve, innocent, sexually inexperienced, too young, or not horny for whatever reason and has to be talked into it.

I like an MC that is sure of himself, but isn't too pushy. Really it comes down to a balancing act between Shinji and Griffith type characterization. I'm also not too much of a fan of a ton of historical baggage. Baggage is fine for characters that you interact with, but gets in the way of me being able to self-insert. Especially when it comes to MC baggage that is more told than felt.
