A little bit of digging and I am almost sure this has to be one of the oldest threads dating back to the birth of F95zone. At least it is the oldest reference one can find in the with a F95 reference (user felixthetrap)
This is the oldest thread. You can just change the last number to find it. As the name etc doesn't matter just the number does. Same with users btw. By the number you can see which # they are when making the account. Mr. 430208 :KEK:

I recall we had a complete switch of the underlying tech at one time, so I am still not sure if those numbers are actually true in terms of the original site. Probably only SAM who knows that exactly. But nonetheless your thread and mine are some 1300 from each other by those numbers, in a period of 5 month. Another anecdotal figure then...

Well I was told they are at least for users, think it was Sam was a while ago. That’s why I assume it’s true for threads too. Would make sense.

not sure if those numbers are actually true
the readme post from
doesn't exist anymore:
https://f95zone.to/goto/post?id=89
posts 88 and 90 exist. this hole shouldn't exist if ids were recounted later.

https://f95zone.to/threads/sisters-secret-v1-0-1-cherrysock.3/ and eleanor were still that and changes to subforum ids are additive, without reusing old ones (see: free-speech.10). a later upgrade of xenforo to 2.0 wouldn't necessite breaking existing ids (links, bookmarks, etc.).
At least it is the oldest reference one can find in the with a F95 reference (user felixthetrap)

It's more that the opposite would make absolutely no sense.

Thread IDs and User IDs can be found in any post, because someone pointed to the right thread as answer to a question, or pinged an user. If at one point one decided to change those IDs, it would imply the edition of every one of those posts, in order to make the links match the new one...
In late March 2018 (more or less when Sam ended the big changes for the database infrastructure) there were already that would have needed to be scanned in order to know if they needed to be edited or not. Way too many works, even considering that it would be automated, and way to many risk of errors.

The wild thing about F95zone to me when I first found it was that they didn't use any bullshit file hosting like rapidgator. Downloading 15 parts of the rar with throttled 20kb/s speeds and waiting 15 seconds after clicking free download... That was the usual experience when pirating anything from some random site generally.
I still remember how I was downloading 9Gb of Tinker Bell's Rondo Duo for a three days, because of the speed cap and multiple parts on one of these sites. And every time I had to solve CAPTCHA, which were progressively harder and longer with each attempt, and I had to pray each time that the connection speed through each of downloads was stable, in hope to not repeat the process again. And eventually, all pieces completed into one file (like a beautiful sightseeing after you've completed the puzzle). It was troublesome back then, but I was determent to see a good porn :Kappa:

But it is something that can be worked with.

Ok, i joined the community when yahoo took me here , while looking to patch Fruit of Grisaia, bought on Steam, there were really few games at the time, but the portal was well designed and generally clean from viruses, one day Steam started to admit a lot of "ADULT VN", but censored, and since that day the number of members started to grow. Today Total: 37,358 (members: 21,317, guests: 16,041), and this is when in Europe is 2,30 AM.

This is actually an interesting read...

One strong-willed soul, determined to share porn with the masses, crafts their own site and goes "Behold, good people... free porn, tags, filters! No longer shall you be lost on the web, wandering aimlessly, looking to satisfy your kinky cravings!"

Anyway... I actually found this site thanks to a comment made on another one I won't mention. I used to download from there, it was nice, comfy enough, but the adds were going bananas at the time and the links were troublesome at times. People barely commented and so I didn't know if anything was going on with the games I liked.

I decided to give this site a shot and was annoyed that it required me to sign up. But in the end I decided to try it out and... it's pretty great. People has been nice for the most part (assholes will just manifest within every website like RPG enemies), had my questions answered and there are multiple ways to keep up with the development of games.

We also get threads that share a bunch of different stuff. I've found gorgeous, fucking crazy smooth animations and beautiful art thanks to these. Some others are just fun conversation.

Overall... I think it's the best site I've been in with this content, so good in fact that I stopped lurking and decided to actually start interacting with people and posting on game threads and stuff. So yeah... thanks F95.

I share the same feeling. Usually, in everyday life there isn't someone to talk with, if you passion is adult games - a genre, that can satisfy visually, but also bring a deeper meaning and tell more personal and deep stories to resonare with. Snd I'm glad to be stumbled on this site, as it has everything I was looking for.

That's why I decided to start tgis thread, so people could also resonate and bring in their stories on how they are introduced to this site. Because, there is already history of culture-impactful forum sites like 4chan, Reddit, Discord, StackOverflow, Mangadex and so on. And I think F95Zone, despite having small, but dedicated community, has a place in a hall of fame of Internet too.

I started uploading on KickassTorrents (KAT) on January 1st, 2015, mostly LoP games. Back then it was basically just me and another guy, Cyberpunk77 (if I remember right), uploading adult games. You couldn’t find much elsewhere, maybe some stuff on TFGamesSite, but most sites had terrible speeds like 50 KB/s or were full of sketchy links.

My KAT profile blew up fast because I was uploading 15–20 games a day sometimes, and people started following my uploads religiously. Later I also started posting on The Pirate Bay, and eventually on a new torrent site called CrystalTorrents, which had just been started by some former KAT staff a couple of weeks before KAT went down.

When KickassTorrents shut down on July 21, 2016, I decided to make a temporary home for everyone who followed my uploads. That’s how forum.f95r.xyz came to life. I used that same domain before just to host image links for my torrent uploads. I threw together a small forum thinking it would just be a stopgap until KAT came back.

But it didn’t.

From July 21 to August 6, 2016, the “temporary” forum grew to around 1,800 members, all from people following the links I left in my torrent descriptions. Eventually we held a vote for a new permanent domain name. There were a bunch of suggestions, but F95Zone got the most votes. I didn’t even choose the name myself.

After that, things really took off. The community grew quickly, people started helping out, moderating, uploading, and improving the place, and that’s basically how F95Zone was born.

In those early days, a few people really helped shape what the site became, including former KAT staff like Nootky and Twistty, along with Hitman955, Ragnar, TCMS, Bloo, muttdoggy, TheImage, Muff Diver, Jande21, RedKing, ace_boogie. And of course Sam, without him the site wouldn’t be where it is today. They were the foundation when things were just getting started.

Big thanks as well to all the past and current uploaders, moderators, and staff who have kept things running, improving, and growing over the years. None of this would have lasted without the effort everyone has put in to make the site what it is today.

Here we are, nine years later, and the community is still growing strong, from a small temporary forum made to fill a gap to one of the biggest adult gaming communities on the internet.

I prefer the theory that you and Sam are fans of Fortuna Dusseldorf football club founded in 1895 hence F from Fortuna and 95 from 1895 to form F95.
