What do you feel is a strong mechanic of a female protag game that's sorely missing. I replayed GGGB recently and realised how many mechanics it pulled off well- custimization, different kinks, different storylines. Most other games really have a hard time pulling this over with sweet tied writing. What is missing and which are the most important mechanics missing?

Answering by describing another game which I think does the female MC very well
Celeste Blake: the Evindium Affair
Primarily a sci-fi adventure involving corporate driven political/imperialistic crime - but with a lot of sex scenes.
The heroine is a mercenary assassin. There are a lot of optional paths - it is not necessary to complete all sub-plots to complete game.
Scenarios include - rape (and subsequent revenge); lezdom; maledom; a lot of humiliation; Domination includes some fairly imaginative accessories and sensory suspension; Additionally, maid play, stripper, corrupt tv-game (this part I'm fairly sure is essential to plot). Alien/monster/tentacle (bad end path).
The game is completed and can be finished in a successful heroine conquers all scenario (took me a significant number of re-runs to get there).
Very text based with drawn images so need to read a lot; Not that many pictures.

However
For what it's worth I think the reason I enjoyed this a lot was the writing and for good challenging gameplay.
Which I suspect is likely to be a similar overview for a male protag game

I think the main thing missing from female led games are more realistic scenarios and people to meet and interact with. So many female protag games are just filled with sleezo's and nothing else. Seems like the female protag only exists to be raped. corrupted, exploited or taken advantage of and nothing else. I'm not saying that these things should never be an option, but for it to be the only or primary option is getting old. Currently I can count the number of Female Protag games that I genuinely enjoy on one hand and that should change.

The problem for me is when I play a Male MC game I sort of put myself in the MCs shoes which usually leads to sex with characters. When its a female protag game you are trying to get fucked which just doesn't work for me and I just cant get into it.

Trainer-style games. I can think of a grand total of 1.

Dom content in general. Most FP games I've played were about being turned into a submissive cumdump, with few satisfying options for dominating other characters.

Legitimately nerdy/geeky MC that's not conventionally attractive.

Chubby or flabby MC.

MC in a position of power from the outset. Again, a lot of FP games put you in a situation where you're creeped-on, harassed etc, often rewarding submissive behavior or having it as the only option for sexual content. How about a game where no one would dare do that and you have to initiate any lewds yourself? Maybe even the equivalent of those power-trip harem-building games?

The most important thing: The game has to be 100% lesbian or at least have a 100% lesbian route. If I play a female protagonist porn game and I see male characters in sex scenes, I feel cheated.

If a male character tries to rape a female MC, he should not have chance, with the player only deciding how to kill the attacker ("Kill him with a clean cut" or "Rip his stomach open and strangle him with his intestines.").

Some BDSM would be fine too with a slight preference for a dominant MC, because that would give you more choices, but this is not a hard requirement. Incest (m/D) would be fine too, but not necessary.

A spine, mainly. Make them something other than temporarily reluctant rapemeat or gigasluts. Giving them a distinct personality won't hurt your game.

I would love a game with a female antihero as the MC. Someone who is not trying to make everyone happy, and sees right through bullshit.

Honestly basic levels of maturity and realism. Nothing takes me out of the immersion as quickly as immaturely written sex scenes. I remember playing Fashion Business and the female protagonist was being harassed by her boss. So far so good, but what was the sex scene?... Two girls touching butts. What 5 year old though that was real human sex at all?

There aren't many games that do female protagonist well that I know of. Lust of Passion despite the many, many flaws in their games do get Female MCs. Eleanor, Call Girl, Pledge Naughty Sorority Girls are all excellent in putting you in control of a budding sex worker, party college bimbo, or a slutty cheating wife, because they write the female urges and desires well, and the sex scenarios while fantastical, never devolve into immaturity.

I'm also really liking Lust Campus so far! Not only for the gorgeous visuals, but the story and characters. You get immersed in the fantasy of being a hot college woman, with lots of options for sexual encounters and promiscuity. The game doesn't shame the protagonist, she is just enough in control that it doesn't feel exploitative, and the scenarios are sexy and well written. It's super promising.

That's all I really ask. I like clothing options, customization, etc. but a little realism and maturity goes a long way in making the experience worthwhile.
