Whats the biggest waste of potential in a game you've seen?

For me it has to be either Waifu Crossing or Failure to Launch.

Waifu Crossing had an amazing demo,its VERY rare to see a visual novel with actual good animations. But it rarely updates.

Failure to Launch had incredibly hot models but was just outright abandoned.

So whats the biggest waste of potential in a game you've seen?

It was going to be a better Karryn's Prison, if the dev had stuck with it instead of changing the genre twice and then abandoning it.

There's many to pick from, but I'll throw my vote in for succulence 2. The first one was great and the second had a good demo, but never got further than that

Every Acerola game where everything is basically the perfect corruption game that speaks to me on a slow enough burn but not enough to be boring mechanic that explodes once the FMC is fully naked and they can't draw a vagina to save their lives.
