I only saw one of them to be kinetic, and one other one that had meaningless choices, but others I played had choices that lead to different scenarios, from what I remember. I can understand not wanting to call a kinetic novel a game, but if I actually have some sort of control over something, it is definitely a game.
EDIT: Since this comment, I have seen many more kinetic VNs from this developer. There are definitely a lot of KVNs from them, but not all DKG games were kinetic. I know I've played non-kinetic VNs from this dev.
