Mod Ren'Py Where it All Began Season 1: The Uncut Edition [V1.0][alain8891]

Overview:
The "Uncut Edition" brings back several deleted or unused renders,
and the introduction cinematic to the Season 1 current release (Chapter 4).
It also attempts to fix most (if not all) of the minor narrative & continuity errors and coding errors within the game.

The whole game dialog has been rewritten to flow more naturally while preserving all aspects
of the story and character dynamics. It now just “feels right”. That’s the intent, at least...

The "Uncut Taboo Edition", also available, delivers all of the above while also partially restoring
the family dynamics that were still in the game before the Chapter 4 release. Read more about it in the Features section.

Compatible with Steam achievements.​

In the above serie of renders, those two female investigators discuss the "families" and their backgrounds.
Here's the script comparison between the original game, the Uncut Edition script, and the Uncut Taboo edition one. For the latter, the conversation flows differently as it would make sense, once Leia is mentioned, to discuss her brother immediately next. Hope you appreciate the differences...

What do you mean by restoring the render of chapter 4? Didn't chapter 4 just come out?. Did Ocean release chapter 4 twice?

There are renders in the game files that didn't make it to the final build. I haven't done a new playthrough but I believe alain put them back into the game.

There are renders in the game files that didn't make it to the final build. I haven't done a new playthrough but I believe alain put them back into the game.

Yep, there were quite a few renders still packaged with the game that weren't used at all in the game script. I've restored them...well, those that made sense to me.

So what did you do to get the older dialogs back? Did you try to install an additional mod, maybe a walkthrough one?
Because if you do, this pretty much overwrites my own. The two are not compatible.

Yup, long story short i tried things and noticed that your mod uses the scripts from older versions and the walkthrough mod uses the scripts from newest version which makes them incompatible depending on the scripts you use one will override the other, but it's not much of a problem now anyway because the walkthrough mod for now doesn't do much other than showing the variable's anyway which people can find through guide too, as in my case i had already completed until chap 4 and even though i have not started chap 4 i highly doubt there will be any dialogue changes there other than the unused renders. Actually i was just curious that's all because i found the latest dialogues more fun and understanding than the older one's. And offcourse i know you must have your reasons on what you use and how much you were able to use, that's why i just wanted to ask if it is even possible to use the latest dialogues or not, and.... i highly doubt it but that might even make the different mods compatible.
Well at the end i don't really know much about these anyway, the main point for me is that i really like what i got from you and i really really appreciate it
