The dialogs in my script have been completely rewritten, not sure what you're referring to when you say my mod uses the script from older versions...it doesn't, it has its own scripts, which are based on the latest release, only with all dialogs (well, almost all) rewritten.

Ohh i see, well i have not compared the dialogues to the previous version and thought that your dialogues were familiar to me and came to that wrong conclusion that it might be in previous version.

It is kind of awkward to rate a game mode but it is what it is. This is probably the worst mod made by any of the games in this forum ever-forever. The modder (!!!) spend like 25 minutes in editing to provide something that no one cares about... anyone with simple renpy knowledge could built something better than this in half an hour

To give to all those interested some "behind the scenes" look at this mod, here are, in no particular order, all of the renders that have been restored, those "fixed" with Photoshop (with comparison to the originals) and those "altered" for the Taboo edition. First of a couple of posts...

Thanks so much Alain for all the effort you’ve put into this work ! A lot of us wouldn’t still enjoy these games, which have been reworked so many times and mostly wrecked by their creator, if it weren’t for everything you do to fix them for the community.

I was just wondering about one small detail, what’s that thing Ocean seems to have blurred or messed up behind that bush on the right in some of the renders ? Is it a car, some object, the house wall that’s distorted, or something like that ? ^^

Leia's car. As you can see I reintroduced some of the larger car renders that he removed from Chapter 2 (and the one in Chapter 1 when Leia calls MC), where the car is seen in full. He only kept close-ups where you couldn't make what type of car it was. My guess is he couldn't use that asset (it may be to close to some McLaren shit or similar), and so he went as far as blurring the car in the bushes on that render, even though you could hardly make it out anyway.

I would properly argue with your comments if they weren't so fucking laughable. Come back when you have valid arguments to discuss, and when you can find me some tool that can generate 25,000+ lines of dialog in 25 minutes that wouldn't also require proofreading all of it.

What he doesn't realise, is that it's simply not possible, in the current state of the game.

To make that happen, it would require a complete overhaul, plus constantly keeping up with Ocean’s updates and reworks, which isn’t feasible and doesn’t make sense long-term. In the end, he’s frustrated because he didn’t get what he wanted, but he doesn’t fully comprehend the scope of your mods or the restraints involved.

Well, I think you're right, in the end it was all about Ocean and his game. As for the rest, I'm also share your opinion : there's no point in bashing a modder essentially working for free, in his spare time to provide a service for the community. I have a hard time figuring out this kind of outburst, over something he was quite capable of disregarding, if it didn't suit him and moving on.

Heyy, so i had a suggestion well more like a request anyway, i don't know your feelings regarding your own script dialogues of the restoration mod but i want to be clear that its not a criticism.
Actually i completed the wiab game just now with both dialogues and came to a conclusion that i personally preferred the original dialogues of the author itself, it felt more spot on for me but i really like your mods actually i also used your summer's gone mod but didn't really noticed the different dialogues at that time and i know i will also use your mods in the future too, that's why i wanted suggest if its not much of an unnecessary hardwork then can you make two links of the mod, one with your own script if you have made one and one with the original dialogues script with the only changed dialogues of restored renders and incest part and people can just choose which one they want to use, i think it will also make it compatible with walkthrough mod( the one with the original script). Offcourse i can understand if is an unnecessary headache than expected, it's just a suggestion i appreciate your mods however much i get

Well yeah it would be unnecessary headache, really. Thank you for your appreciation of my mods, I for one do really not understand how someone could prefer the original text, considering there's almost no a single line that is grammatically correct or doesn't use "weird" phrasing coming from German.

If you've actually played the old version and the new one at the same time, you can't say that this mod is useless because nobody cares about it. You're just frustrated that the incest isn't fully integrated, but that's something you can blame on Ocean and not the modder. We should already be happy to have the Zane family back and not just a vulgar mafia clan.

Have a look at JokerLeader's mod, he made a version of it using my Uncut Taboo mod. If you want a walkthrough, get his, that's all you need to get.

Everything's working fine, I've also installed the old incest patch and we've got the pre-revamp dialogs again, if that helps even a little.

Doing so totally negates having my mod or Joker's one, and you won't get into Chapter 4 at all.
The patch for Chap3 was never just a patch, it was a full script replacement.

I like your work. It's kinda sad that lately, the only way to enjoy Ocean's work is through modders fixing his crap. For me, both of the games are definitely more enjoyable with your mods. The script rewrite is nice, and I like how it looks and flow better. Thanks for the work.
