I wonder if "cyberpunk" is perhaps a bit too specific, especially since "sci-fi" is present, although i suppose you could break sci-fi down into future dystopia and utopia, more along a cyberpunk/Blade runner or star trek sort of line. Also what do you mean by "jungle", more of a location than an ambience, similarly "Medieval" could be a bit too broad, do you mean medieval fantasy ala the Elderscrolls, the Witcher, LoTR or w/e or do we mean more hard historic?

Perhaps i'm being too picky.

Voted medieal for obvious reasons, but imo the most important is to make the one that pleases you the most. Also what kind of third person? one with 3d models, 3dcg, 2d, the list goes on. We need more details.

But overall, yeah, I prefer medieval.

1.- well Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction in a dystopian futuristic setting that tends to focus on a "combination of low-life and high tech" featuring advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as artificial intelligence and cybernetics. so i like more this subgenere than Science fiction normal.

2.- jungle. mmm is not medieval, is more like people who lives in the jungle. on google search for jungle people. more like wood spears and things like that.

modern, followed by cyberpunk. Medieval would be third.

depends on the story you want to tell.
i can do to many stories, but if i want to do a story in a Victorian style, maybe most of the people won’t like it. and is easier for me to start a story than redo a full ambientation, so for me right now, is important to know which time or style of game most people like. =) because i whish the community enjoin the game.

What Machinist said. A game should come from you, ighi. It should eat through you like the Alien. It should speak to you, haunt you, flood you with ideas. I'd understand if you you're already writing a game and realize you have too many ideas and ask people to help you trim them down but it seems like you didn't write a single line of code and you're asking for your potential customers for directions. Well, you're approaching this from a very... unique direction.

I wish you luck, though!

I only want to know what people likes, already made 2 systems of games, one is Action rpg and the other one is more like mmm maybe sims, it is a little different but, you can have a idea. what I like? what I love? that’s easy. i love making games. so I’m doing what I like the most. it can be any of the chooses from the poll and I will be glad to do it. I study theatre direction, so create a story is what I do hehe. And about system and 3d models. Its ok. I have 2 more persons working with me. So, I’m already pleased with what I’m doing. So now I want to know, what people wants =) but I really appreciate any advice from the community, and I thank for each message.

Whatever fits best with the story. That's what you need to be concerned.
You need to think how those settings or world will effect the story and if they will create issues like plot holes.
Such as if you choose steam punk. There is a limit to how small tech can be scaled when it comes to steam powered systems.
Take the idea if the electronic technology exists to make a cell phone then there is no reason for a steam punk society to exist.
Hell that technically is true even if you have electronics and electrical at the level to make radio.

But a steam punk society not having the tech of today would offer a lot of advantages to criminals and their ability to get away with stuff. The society would have access to many of the forensic tools we use today.

So think about the story first and what you are wanting to tell then pick the best "background setting" that fits the story.

right now, what i care the most is the information of what most of the community likes, the story will be made according to the ambientation, right now I see that medieval and modern have most of the points. But I will need at least 100 votes to start hehe. Ty to everyone.

You have a very ambitious mission set up for yourself there. Goodluck for it though.

I like both steampunk and cyberpunk about equally. Medieval is ok, but not quite as good. I consider contemporary settings boring as far as story goes. I don't consider jungle an ideal choice for a porn games, because their are usually no lingerie or sex toys available in jungles.
