Ren'Py Which resize looks better? If both sucks, are there any other ways you'd recommend?

Hi! I'm working on resizing my images so that my game won"t be too bloated.

This the the OG image at 7.5 mb

For me, I convert from png to webp but I keep it 100%.
I open up the png in gimp and save as webp with no loss.
If I have a folder of pngs, I use android studio, which allows you to convert multiple pngs to webp with just a few clicks. I use no loss there also.
I don't always have that big of a size savings but it's something.
But I'm still learning so always looking for ways to improve.

Photoshop is ridiculously easy to pirate via Monkrus at this point. Is there any reason why you aren't using it? I'm not sure what Adobe's using, but their lossless WebP is better than anything I've come across. They're a touch larger at around 1MB, but the quality kept is worth it. I imagine 100% WebP on Photopea is decently close, though, seeing Photopea is basically the free Russian clone of PS.

IMO I dont see a difference between the 90ish or the 100is, but there are some clearly difference between gimp over photopea.
The main ones are on her lips.

look at the lips from gimp and photopea. photopea version has more less pixels and it looks blocky.
