Seeking Wholesome Strategy/War Games

Hey it's uh... butter again

I'm still on break, but I do kind of want more of these now that someone got me talking about them.

If you don't know what the title means, I'm looking for games like Eiyuu Senki (or games like Venusblood, Rance, etc- I haven't played these though so I'm just going off of what people have said) where it's basically a turn based strategy game.

I LOVE enemies to lovers which is why I also love this genre. The bad thing about it though... this genre is filled with unwholesome stuff due to the nature of the power dynamics in a war.

So... does anyone have a wholesome game that falls under this genre? I'm honestly desperate enough that I'll take games with slightly unwholesome stuff (NOT NTR OR SHARING OR GANGBANG.) as long as it's avoidable.

i stopped paying Sengoku Neet before reaching half the story cuz i could not figure out how to manage my resources, also i did not like it that much.

Maaaybe Shuggerlain? It has a harem tag, but their previous game has solo paths and the harem path in it was weird and difficult so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. But the intro scene isn't something you'll enjoy: the MC's wife and son are killed in a siege. It's VN-y though.

I have Shuggerlain downloaded, and I have played through the intro- I stopped there though.
You're right- I really didn't like the intro. I'm not a fan of games where the MC already has a partner (and even worse, a whole family) and just... moves on or gains a harem afterwards. It hasn't even been that long after they died that he's given a set of Horny Armor™ and I assume probably adds everyone he meets later to his harem or something.

Also the fact that it happened in the first place. He's an old man at this point- just live out your days or something...

Eh... my favorite trope is 2 enemy generals falling in love with each other. War itself is unwholesome, but when it's a medieval fantasy it gets thrown out the window because war is just a fact of the genre.

...You know something that's cute? Hero converting demons to the heroic side by just being a good person. I have a few doujins with this premise, and I do know some of the JSK games on my list have this premise. Kind of what I'm looking for, to be honest.
Something similar to either that or Eiyuu Senki

Well, there's Vae Victis, that's literally a fantasy strategy game, but... Though rape is 1 of the main sexual focuses and it's optional, it's way less wholesome than Shuggerlain, and even more harem compatible anyway. It's like the closest thing I can think of that wasn't posted already, but I doubt it's something for you.

Oh, and I'm gonna throw Divine Dawn at you, not really strategy but an RPG, but it has wholesome arcs you'll like.

I thought it was doable enough, maybe a little grindy, and I'm like pretty crap at those games. I last played it a few years ago tho so I assume the combat's been edited since.

same, tried to play "monster girl dreams" but i got stuck at a boss fight even after reading advices.
this game used to be in f95 but i could not find it now.
