But in most 3D stuff vaginas tends to be extra terrible. Unless you are like one of those few blessed people who for some reason make superhero or online PvP game porn, like from Overwatch, it's going to tend to be something scary.

Koikatsu ones aren't completely terrible for the most part thanks to the art style, just really shallow. (On account of the original being a mosaic, the inside was never even considered)

Thats good then! I've played those games and I don't think the characters are overall horribly designed so it's fine. I wish some of the bigger Japanese studios invested in artists who can draw better because teams like Acerola or Oneone1 should know better ane hopefully have the money to improve, but it is what it is! They do draw some great baseball bat dicks!

My one issue with koikatsu characters is the weird head shape. Bane of my existence trying to change that.

I haven't noticed. Looks like anime to me which is always unusually shaped. But I will take your word as a professional developer for the tool!

The more of these games that I play, whether they be 3D CG or 2D animation/still images, the more I realize that so many of these games have MCs with penises the size of an arm and it just throws me off lol. Like, obviously different strokes for different folks , but for it to seemingly be the golden standard, I can't help but wonder why?

As was mentioned it's easier to posing. Also it's norm. If you look on old porn movies, you can see actors have normal or above average penis size, but in modern porn most actors have biggus dickus maximus. I guess it look more appealing, because bigger is always better (it's not). IMHO depends on game. I don't see it as problem, but if game is trying be serious and realistic, then baseball dick can be awkward and potentionally ruin scene, unless it's intentional like parody or game is not serious.
