Why are Asshole, Old, Fugly, Greasy, and/or Terribly Fat Men prevalent in hentai/ porn?

I'm not trying to insult people for having differing tastes, I'm just curious as to why the trope appealing.
Okay, I'll bite. People enjoy porn where ugly guys bang hot girls because the majority of those viewers have high IQs, good personal hygiene, many healthy interpersonal relationships in their real lives, impressive sexual organs, well-paying and satisfying jobs, and are in general extremely happy with their real lives with no need whatsoever to enjoy sexual fantasies that differ in any way from their current existence. Those situations in a person's life directly cause that specific interest in ugly-guy-on-hot-girl porn.

For the most part this is one of those few things that tend to ruin a game for me. At least when the fugly dudes get way too much focus in the art. If the artist is trying to make me focus on the dude and go out of their way to make them repulsive, it is an instant boner-killer for me.

Some times I don't mind too much, as long as the guy is more an accessory to the images rather than its focus or done in a way that is comedic. One example I can think of off hand is the stuff from the NightHawk circle. They love to use a fugly dude as the protagonist in most of their stuff, but they use him in funny ways and keep most of the art focused on the girls. While I'd still prefer the exact same content with a more attractive male lead, the way they go about it at least minimizes most of the turn off power their guys have.

Part of me also kinda wonders some times if it may be some weird sort of self-hate inspired knee-jerk reaction. Where a lot of bi guys are revolted by the revelation that they find dudes attractive in more vanilla porn match-ups, so they only want porn with repulsive dudes who won't confuse their dicks so much, lol. :closedtongue:

Dear Slutever,

Is it weird to fantasize about fucking ugly people? I’ve noticed that often, when I see a guy who I don’t find physically attractive, I immediately have thoughts about us fucking doggy-style. I’m semi concerned that subconsciously it’s because I want to be the more attractive person in a sexual scenario, making it a self-esteem issue. . . but I don’t know, maybe I’m just legitimately into ugly dudes? Help, Sarah

Honestly, I’m at the point where I don’t think it’s “weird” to fantasize about anything. The human mind is incredibly perverted, and I think most of us wouldn’t admit–sometimes not even to ourselves–where our deepest, darkest fantasies could lead us if we let them. Having said that, I don’t think “fantasizing about fucking ugly people” is even particularly that dark. And not to be overly PC, but I wouldn’t use the world ugly, because it just feels kind of cruel, ya know? But I do understand what you mean about desire to fuck someone who you–or who general society–wouldn’t deem a standard beauty.

It’s no secret that, since the dawn of sex, people have been attracted to things that are “dirty,” and have felt the impulse to have have types of sex that polite society says we shouldn’t be having–e.g. anal sex, piss sex, fucking your friend’s spouse, or your teacher, or your student, sleeping with prostitutes, eating your girlfriend out on her period, being treated like a dog and kept in a cage… whatever, there’s a million examples. And I think your impulse probably falls into a similar category.

My personal fantasies evolve and change over time, but there was a period that lasted for about two years where every time I masturbated I would think about being gangbanged by a group of really gross, hairy, fat, brutish guys, which is literally the exact opposite of the the type of person I’m actually attracted to in a relationship way. At the risk of sounding egotistical, I think I liked the idea/the perversity of being used and abused by guys who “didn’t deserve me.” My friend, the sex blogger Tea Hacic, used to have similar fantasies–we’d talk about it all the time. We even nicknamed it (quite narcissistically) the “Beauty and the Beast complex.” And I guess maybe you could link that to a self esteem issue, but I don’t think it has to be. Like, I enjoy getting smacked during sex sometimes, and that doesn’t mean that I devalue myself or think that I deserve abuse in my regular life–I just like it, OK? Sometimes we’re just turned-on by stuff, and we don’t have to over-think it, but that can ruin the fun and impulsiveness of it.

It does seem like what you’re talking about is specific to sex, and not “romance,” because you mentioned that your immediate impulse is to get fucked doggy-style by these guys, rather than to kiss and hug them. And actually, there is such a thing as “teratophilia,” which is defined as “the sexual paraphilia characterised by sexual attraction to deformed or monstrous people / Attraction to monsters.” Maybe that’s you! Yay, you have a paraphilia–now you’re officially special.

But basically, no, I don’t think it’s weird or harmful to have these fantasies, and I of course don’t think it would be bad to act on them either, so long as your less-attractive partner doesn’t feel objectified, or like a novelty (unless that’s what he/she is into, I guess… ugh, sex is confusing).

You probably know what scenario I'm talking about: a beautiful, sexually attractive female character having mind-melting sex (a lot of the times unwillingly) with male characters who looks on average would be considered unattractive with a personality to match to say the least. So my question:

Why are a lot of men in hentai and 2d porn, generally portrayed as assholes, old (as in they are considered as senior citizens), fugly, greasy, and/or obscenely fat? And by extension what do people find appealing about it?
Reasons will vary, but I like it because I like it when women enjoy sex. If they can enjoy sex so much that they don't even care what their partner(s) look like, I find that a real turn-on.

Two examples, " " ("今からアタシ…", 2 eps) and " " ("鬼畜 ~母姉妹調教日記~", 3 eps).

Nah, it's a dude being a dick to a dude who's looking for context. Context, which for the most part has been provided and accepted, but a bunch of reactive snowflakes are getting offended at a simple question so they're throwing their epeen around.

I can see how degradation is a selling point, women defiling themselves to seek greater pleasure for herself and the audience by proxy. However, I meant hentai as a collective whole. You have popular artists like Takeda Hiromitsu, Bitch Bokujou, Sanagi Torajirou, Xration (Mil), who draw gorgeous women who seem to always be paired with fugly as shit men.
It should be noted since your talking mostly hentai here, that JAV porn also has a lot of fat ugly men in it as well. So I would say that it is a cultural thing in their case that I don't understand. Not an answer I can google either. But my guess is that the humiliation would be very central to the theme as asians in general are very particular about keeping appearances and being seen, much less having relations with an ugly dude and liking it would be the most humiliating thing that could happen to them.

But... that's what makes it funny?

The trouble, for me at least, is the idea that there's one generic context for each fetish/paraphilia. That's ridiculous. Everybody's different and everybody's psyche is different. There may be some commonalities in the experiences of people with particular paraphilias, but any answer like 'people who like ugly-guy-on-hot-girl porn have all been molested by a counter worker at Arby's, are trying to re-enact that experience, and are left handed' is based on junk science.

Which isn't what he's looking for. The answer shouldn't be about what causes the fetish or who's got it, but about what you get from it. Hence my early answer in the thread about the depravity of it, the degradation of this beautiful girly to be with that man, or the power fantasy of the guy to get that girl. There may be other smaller reasons, personal to the individual, but that is the main thrust of what people get from this.

The fact that people are making it about the individual takes it back to my comment about snowflakes. You assumed he was attacking individuals, when really he's just trying to understand the draw.

I'll never understand why Hentai must always include that the woman or girl hates it, gets abused, violated or blackmailed. I'm getting the impression that Japanese men cannot enjoy sex but when the woman suffers one way or the other, and I all-heartedly hate it. I promised myself never ever to date a Japanese men (although, luckily, they are not where I live).

Even the oldest known snuff movie is a Japanese porn movie where the actress is being killed. And still, they make a problem of showing genitals without mosaics??

I am sort of proud, really, that I don't understand all this.

Reading the comments so far makes me think that it would be fun to have a subversive VN/dating sim about a female MC overly conscious about their social standing that for some innocuous reason ends up in a sincere relationship with one of a selection of your stereotypical rape monsters. The punchline would then be that, from the outset, each LI would actually be genuinely conscientious and way more emotionally well-adjusted than the MC.

Playing from the MC's perspective, each narrative could initially follow their cliche fall-from-grace breakdown arcs even though the circumstances, dialogue, and consequences fromeach LI would explicitly not support that kind of reaction. For their part, the LIs wouldn't have to be a full-on white knight, but at just behave well enough that the audience could reasonably believe they could successfully navigate a normal relationship. The goal with this would be to create a near-farcical dissonance between the MC's reality and what the player observes.

Eventually, each path could reach a climax where the MC is somehow forced to confront that the perceived degradation suffered previously was entirely a product of their own shitty personality. Consequently, the selected LI would learn about the MC's intent/thoughts and react depending on the player's prior choices/management and either dump the MC or decide against their better judgment to keep sticking their dick in crazy. The final act could then have the MC learning to overcome their personal prejudices (at least in-part, I think it would be funnier if they were still clearly a bit toxic), and learning to accept whatever dire social prestige loss they incur while enjoying their newly-realized healthy relationship.

Maybe something like this has already been done, I know some doujins that kind of go that route, but afik it would be different enough from the usal fare to at least stand out.

There ought to be more Asshole, Old, Fugly, Greasy, and/or Terribly Fat Women prevalent in hentai/porn, honestly.

It might sell like a bar of soap at an NTR convention, but hey, feminists need the representation :KEK:

Terrandis' description makes me think about the game Nursery Slime, but more hard-core. But, what is "LI"?

Although there may be more games like that around, I myself haven't really found any, except for some of them where the game has endings with the fem protagonist losing her mind and spending the rest of her life as a mindless cum bucket. (Meritocracy of the Oni and Blade and Succulence being a couple of them)

The humiliation is one angle. Me, I like contrast between the partners. One older, one younger, one dominant one sub etc either way for male or female. But I also like pretty girls, so if one partner is gonna be ugly and the other pretty, it's gotta be an ugly dude.

For other people, I imagine there's also an element of distancing the work from reality. If it's about a hot guy getting a girl, they may become insecure and self-conscious. I actually think this is the reason there's so much ugly/old guy ntr. If it was a hot dude stealing the girl, it might be "too close to home" for fans of that stuff.

I also ask this question. Apparently yes, this is a kind of fetish and the tastes of all people are different in principle.
