Makes me wondering why you think you needed to "Made it all American" for myself.Made it all American for you
right. show your stuff then.I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel and its all still pretty basic but dinking around with RPGMaker and HS2 I find it hard to believe seasoned developers in some cases take so long to create content... I've spent my weekend so far messing around with them and already have a almost complete fully open world with multiple layers, learned how to make events, branching storylines and animations. Granted this is with mostly stock assets as I am still learning but most of the games on here use stock assets and or AI bullshit.
Sadly a lot of people are getting milked if they are paying for these games unfortunately. In a weekend I've been able to make enough content that a lot of devs take 6 months to create and I have ZERO game dev or artistic background... or maybe I have a natural talent hahaha doubtful, but it's REALLY eye opening.
Try it out for yourself if you're disappointed in the current offerings is all I can say, it's shockingly easy to learn.![]()
the guy has a dick on his hip?I'll likely have a demo out by the end of the week, maybe even by Tuesday. Currently working on a replay room/diary system for the scenes I do have. I'm thinking I'll release the demo as a proof of concept then redo it from scratch.
But I can share something. This is a scene where the teacher takes the MC's gf back to his classroom for tutoring. You won't see this scene from the MC's perspective. This will only be seen in your GF's diary available at the beginning of the next day. The MC will TRY to see this through the classroom door window, giving you a different fully animated perspective.
Those are fingers? But sounds like an idea. lolthe guy has a dick on his hip?
i dont see any fingers. looks like something big and slimy. maybe take another weekend to work on itThose are fingers? But sounds like an idea. lol
nopelmfao found the offended guy getting milked.
i think my intention to oppose your claim of "making games is so easy" was obvious, thus not bad faith which implies deceit. you're not the first one who says making games is so easy. then reality sets in for the newbie dev and many end up with abandonded v0.1 projects.Nah you came in here in bad faith from the start.
But I appreciate the feedback. I'll see if there as less dicklike fingers amongst the stock assets.

if you dont wanna imply game dev is easy, you're doing a bad job of not implying itI don't think you're hard at all. At no point was I saying game development was easy. My stance was pretty clear and only leaves you at fault for misinterpretation. A lot of these devs who obviously have talent are using the same modern tools and assets everyone has access to for game development and are simply purposely milking their audience with mediocre content drops. This does NOT apply to every game or dev, but it's an objective fact many on this site knows is true. THAT is the topic on the thread.
I could have posted the Mona Lisa of animations and you still would have been obnoxiously critical, that's bad faith as you had no intention of giving real feedback, just wanted to hate and it was way to obvious. I was simply adding my opinion and input that trying game development for myself makes that point abundantly clear to be true, as a numpty like myself with zero artistic/coding experience fucking around with stock assets am able to create a world, a story and characters, with animations casually over a weekend.
It's more of a testament to how good these tools are now vs "look how good I am"
That'll be the last I comment on this, as you've derailed the thread long enough.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
