No such thing as a bad game or broken game. However there is such thing as a bad developer or broken programming, dont blame the game, its the person who is making its fualt. Most games start with an ideal, sadly not everyone is up to the task of making there ideals a reality. It can be helped though, if the dev is willing to ask for it.

Hmmm. So what you are saying is if I make a game that is effectively just watching paint dry that would be a good game. If there are no coding issues then the issue isn't the developer and just those who don't like the game.
A game is just a product and products can be bad.
A game is a product that is intended for entertainment and has a set of rules and goals. If the rules and goals of the game make the game less than desirable then then it is a bad game.
When people say a game sucks they mean the developer did a poor job at some stage. It could be the planning of the game the rules they chose the interaction, the win and loose conditions goals so on in the game.
It can also be technical issues such as bad coding or poor performance.
Everyone knows the developer is at fault. The game didn't create it self.

Simples, Ren'py is babies first engine and typically the one new devs will attempt to make a game with. Usually those new devs know nothing about games development and this is their first time so chances are, it's gonna break because they can only do so much as they learn.
And as I said no such thing as a bad game, if your a dev who thinks making a game about watching paint dry is great then it can be, go on incremental games reddit, you will be surprised how somthing like that can be precieved. The point is how good a game game is, is in its execution. Somthing that's person error and not machine error.
