Why are so many games on this forum overrated?

Sorry if I came across as a butt head. I think what you are saying is exactly right and we are even saying the same thing just differently.

Like Star Wars or any movie I think its fair to say the script is bad or dialog is weak etc. Or with regards to game saying hey Dev the dialog is stiff or that renders are grainy or posses are stiff etc. I just think it's a whole other level to say all that and then say I can do it better but not put my butt out there in the wind like the Dev did and get the criticism.

I rated In for a Penny 4 stars. It's a bad game. The writing is off kilter, the renders are average (and that's being generous), the MC's dick is bigger than his leg, etc. etc. Why did I rate it 4 stars? Because it made me laugh.

Here's a tip: Porn game reviews aren't serious things. Lighten up.

Edit: Aaaand this is a necro'd post. Damn. Oh well, point still stands.

If we believe the staff its mostly the devs rating their own games.
However, i dont give a shit about ratings and prefer to read the comments over the reviews.
