Some women do like beards. I would say the percentage of women who likes beards is a bit higher than the percentage of women who want giant cocks, but not by much. This is purely anecdotal though, so can be thoroughly ignored.
Beards are like hats, some people look good in them, some people do not, its package deal. Re the main question about the giant MC parts - many women dont want the massive D. - as per the karma sutra the concept is divided into three sizes
D = 'Hare' 'Bull' 'Stallion'
V = 'Doe' 'Mare' 'Elephant Cow'
Been ages since I read it but from memory you can realistically go up 1 size either way (and that's what the book is for, how to overcome that size difference either way with positions, techniques etc). if the D is one size up then it can really only go in, and even then may take certain positions or preparations...
SO while easier to draw for that reason- it is probably FAR more likely the real reasons are
a) is that it is waaaay easier to animate as you dont need to redraw anywhere near as many layers to animate (you can just drag layers over the top of each other and not have to have anywhere near the number of interactions between characters to make it look not weird, i.e. they dont need to get as close etc.). If you have ever tried drawing/animating this you often draw the characters first and the 'bits second'. The female part is generally stuck in position so the only part left you can alter to make the image work is the MC's D, if you make it big you can just use it to bridge gaps that are far or just make it hidden if too close etc. Particularly in games where you reuse assets.
b) In art where the girls waist is often the width of her wrist & her boobs the size of her legs, its safe to say everything is being hyper sexualised. People are after fantasy, not factual.
Maybe people who are artistically inclined also have lower appreciation of reality as it exist. Why restrict yourself to humans who aren't made out of rubber when you can draw them as if they are. Artists who do gigantic penises aren't gonna be thinking how it'd feel when stuffed into their own assholes.
The better the artist the less they need to show something to give the impression of it & the more room they have to insert individual style in. A lot of the generic AI generated art is more 'accurate' than the drawn art in games on this site, however hands down the best games have an artist with a 'style' that you like. I mean, look at the faces, they look vaguely human most of the time yet manage to give an impression of something very appealing.
Theres likely some explanation on the educational background. Eg. an artist with art classes drawing actual humans and poses uses that in their work. Theres like generations of jap artists who copy existing hentai resources for reference and internal womb shots became flanderized into nonsense with no anatomical detail.
I wonder if some of that is the repercussion of their censorship of porn? If you had to draw a car off of someones verbal description of it it would start to distort over time. Also a lot of people find internal shots very unappealing, so maybe a half measure is how to appeal to those who want it without making half your audience tune out (I mean for example how many games have it as an on/off toggle)
