Shotgun rather than Sniper Approach.
Sniper bullet is extremely effective and precise but you might miss. Shotgun is basically firing loads in a wide remit and hoping some hits with sufficient force to make an effect.
Same with fetishes in games.
Lets say you make a game: Babe's With Big Booty Ass Clappin' Butts. The game is devoted to big butts, twerking, anal sex, facesitting and everything involving those two lovely scoops of booty flakes that are PACKED with flavour.
Now if you're a breast guy, you're out of luck.
If you're a guy into Furry, you're out of luck.
If you're into vaginal, you're out of luck.
Now the ass fans will go WILD and absolutely LOVE the game, but the others are potentially an untapped market. So maybe the dev decided to make a big butt furry girl character, some of the furry crowd (like
BaasB ) might pledge now, but it could also backfire and your big ass supporters might leave because they are not into that OR they feel you are getting distracted from the main aim. So it's a tightrope of the approach you want to take.
The biggest thing for me personally which really annoys me is when a dev puts 1, yeah 1 scene in the game just to get the tag. There is one game on here that has the futa/trans tag and it's one scene where a girl wakes up next to a shemale after a night out and that's it. You see nothing of what happened and there are NO FURTHER SCENES.
