Why do so many renplay games use the word "sex" for the female geneitals?

i keep noticing in many games that you will get a line like "and then she licked my SEX" instead of say "then she licked my pussy". just curious as to why? translation error? code? just something the devs do for laughs?

Can't say I can remember seeing it a lot. But yeah it's just another word used to describe female genitalia. Probably used to avoid repetition or maybe even to seem a little more higbrow.

Could it be because they are games for adults ? No adult put his peepee in a girl pussy, they ravage her sex with their dick, after they eaten her cunt.

There's two words to name it, it's "genital" that is way too scholar, and "sex". All other words are slang, and when you aren't a native speaker, you don't necessarily know them, or aren't sure that they effectively fit the context. So, many none native authors just goes for the word that will always fit, and that anyone will understand.

In a corruption game, the corrupted person may later refer to a vagina as pussy and even later as cunt, what's a in my eyes a good way to reflect such a change on a verbal level.

Maybe if you go back to the old French roots in the 12th century where sex meant genitals. It's that old. It's the other way around though: (To have) "sex" is short for "sexual intercourse" or "sexual relations". This meaning of sex is relatively new, dating from the early 20th century.

This new meaning of sex in English has probably caused sex referring to the genitals to have fallen out of use faster than otherwise. In Swedish, the word for sex is kön, but only in the other meanings, not for "sexual relations". Like in English, you can say sexual relations (könsumgänge), but it has never been shortened to kön, like it has in English with sex. Because of this, kön is still used for the genitals. It sounds a bit old fashioned and nothing you would say in normal speech, but it's still used in anything from newspapers to porn novels. Because of this, I perhaps am a bit too fond of sex meaning genitals in English, but it's a meaning I'm familiar with.
