Why do you like censored games?

I've seen a lot of Games with a high rating, but they got the "censored" Tag and well... the Content is Censored... Pixels or White/Black stripes...
I absolutely do not understand why People would like these Games.

Well, if they've got a good story, okay, but even then i would prefer to see nothing and leave the rest to my imagination instead of seeing pixels...

IMHO the Pixels and/or Black/White stripes are an absolute turn off!

I REALLY would like to know why some people like these games.

Depends on quality. I honestly don't remember the last time I played a censored game, but I can understand why other people would. You don't have to see everything perfectly to get turned on by a good kink or a good sex scene. Why do you think Beaver Hunt was so popular back when paper nudie mags were still a thing? Tell a good story and it doesn't really matter if you can see it or not, if it's told well enough.

In the case of Japanese/Korean games, it doesn't really have anything to do with "liking censored games".
Their porn(games) are censored due to their porn laws. That's just the way it is.
And almost all censored games on this site originate from these countries.

Depends what type it is? Like if its a Japanese game then i dont like it of course but since the laws over there states it nothing can be done. But if the setting for example like censoredsight by Aquaworshipper then it works with well. Of course best solution is to have options to turn on and off. But with japanese works they really cant do much. Unless they go steam route or other sites thats western centered to apply a uncensored patch like kagura games etc.

2 scenarios: A) the resf of the game is well done/has things I'm looking for, or B) the censorship is so poor, it doesn't matter. There's a game I played recently called Mari's Sexual..something (sorry, too lazy to look it uo right now) that fit both of these. The censorshil eas a slight blur to the gentials, which wasn't really an issue, and it olayed a bit like an old early 99s game like Myst or the Journryman Project (control wise) eith good H scenes.

I don't think anyone loves games or porn because they're censored. I like japanese porn, but hate that they have to censor genitals. It's just a stupid japanese censorship law that requires to censor that stuff.

Im not sure everybody here is talking about the same thing. Like someone said, I don't think the fact genetailia is censored in Hentai is thrilling to anybody, its just there due to restrictions.

Anticipation can definetly be hot though, it depends on the situation. Perhaps a bad example, but I thought the hottest scene in the old Big Brother series was when Eric the douchebag (who was dating the MC's mother) had locked himself in the same room as the MC's sister when she was drunk and presumably had sex with her.

I agree we mostly want to see the whole thing in the end, but as for building anticipation, sometimes less is more.

Well, sometimes the game is just a way too good even being censored. And lets be honest here, now all art styles are top quality so sometimes you may be losing less than you think.

Still, im not very fond censored games either, just play them when the gameplay, story and etc makes it worth

And of those 2650, 2472 are tagged Japanese which is 93%. So for people who like games that happen to be censored, it's extremely likely that they really just like Japanese games and the censorship is a side effect.

As for why we like them despite the censorship? I want to play finished games with actual gameplay. Since English-speaking devs are typically focused on VN's and/or their forever-in-development non-VN projects, well there's not much choice is there? I'm not blaming anyone, but that's just the way it is. Of course there's an occassional English-speaking dev making and finishing games with gameplay, but it's not very common. And while a lot of Japanese games are a waste of time, i have far better chances of finding something i want to play from there. The censorship really doesn't bother me anymore unless it's a black bar, but i haven't seen anyone do that anymore.
