Why Do You Play Incest Games?

What makes it easy is the drama created by the taboo, which allows you as a writer to explore the characters thoughts and feelings.

There aren't many kinks that are that easy. You might be able to accomplish something similar with a teacher student game, but then you run the risk of getting into the under 18 territory, which in spite of the fact that they're cartoons, makes governments freak out.

Lootbox rage make's sense, since those are a way to milk us for money, but the NTR crybabies bug the hell out of me. Sure, it would annoy me if it was a straight up romance game with the protag and his girl, even in incest, and the protag was faithful. But the moment the Protag gets to cheat the ability for you to hold the moral high ground is gone.

I agree @Daishi i dont think they really capture the entire ideal of ive been a man my whole life, now suddenly im a woman, or vice versa, not saying it has to be deeply intellectual but a little more than "im now a girl, im a slut", i mean i wouldnt be as quick to take a penis in me personally lol

Eh, I would, but I'm already pansexual, so it wouldn't be that big of a leap. That said, are either of you following Two Sides? That one is very interesting... I wish the dev hadn't decided to do a ton of framework stuff, but meh. I can't wait for the game to continue.

Heh, I didn't notice it taking that long, however I'd played a lot fewer games at the time I stumbled on it (hence playing a game so early in development) but I kinda like the writing. Like I said, I kinda just wish he'd get going. The UI was fine IMO when I first played it. I wonder what he decided he needed to change it all for.

Yeah. A lot of the older rags games were much better thought out than the shit they have now and normally had some inbuilt justification, normally along the lines of "Your libido's Power Level... it's now OVER 9000!!! Good luck with the not slutting out."

I don't like certain things, NTR for example, but I don't kink shame over it, if it's your thing, be you!

Wow, this thread has been somewhat active for almost a year now. Pretty impressive. Am in a contemplative mood so decided to pop into the discussion forum to see if there was any interesting topic.

While being in a family made up predominately by females I've actually never had anything from my immediate family. I play incest games because it just seems to be all over the place and the "in-thing". That being said I'm actually not really against IRL incest as long as a child is not produced. While it isn't my thing I'm not as against it as some.

Think the reason why I personally am against it is because as a humans, we tend to be rather "possessive" of people and our things so naturally . I think there are not so many transformation games, because the theme is disturbing to great lot of people. Same goes for NTR. Don't get wrong, I'm not judging the people who like these fetishes. But the fact, that they limit their target group is somehting developers will take into consideration. Same goes for NTR.
Personally I wouldn't play NTR games, except if they were lesbian NTR games. I'm not a fan of transformation either. I like games where you can choose the protagonist's gender and I don't mind if you can switch during the game (though I'd not use the option). Actual transformation is not my cup of tea however. At least if it means sexual transformation. Growing horns, claws and wings is fine for me.
