Ren'Py Why does the RenPy game not update when I download the latest version of the game?

Hi there,

I'd like to ask for your help, I tried to look on other sites but I couldn't find a solution.

Today I downloaded a game and I have the following problem (again) :

I have played earlier through the game to the end of a version and I have saved before the last page so that I can continue the game on the next update.
I have downloaded the newer version and after I start the game here and load my saved page from “Load” and want to continue playing, the next page shows again : Thanks for playing, wait for the next updates... Although this should already be the next update.
I have already deleted the previous version from the PC and I don't know what I am doing wrong or how can I continue playing the game now?
This problem concerns my games: MissDenvers and Cyberstray101.
I mean for example, at MsDenvers I have already played 4-5 updates nicely and then the problem started. Now there have been 2-3 new updates and at my pc i still see that that was the last update.
I have played several Renpy games but only 2-3 games have this problem. Is this known?

maybe there is no new content?
msdenvers hasnt been updated in 2 months and according to the game thread, v0.09 is the same as the old v0.8.75
cyberstray has been updated recently but according to the thread it seems it has no new content at the end, only stuff in the gallery

also verify that you are actually playing the latest update. the version is usually displayed somewhere in the game

Looks like you're stuck in the "endOfUpdate" (or whatever like this) label, that will be the same for all updates. Rollback few steps, to return into the game itself, and it should be good.
