I think the whole tagging system needs an overhaul.
To prove my case, here is the Tags from the first game in the forum atm:
"Furry,2DCG, Big ass, Big tits, Cheating, Corruption, Creampie, Dating sim, Exhibitionism, Handjob, Interracial, Male protagonist, Masturbation, Milf, Oral sex, Point & Click, Romance, Sex toys, Stripping, Teasing, Titfuck, Turn based combat, Vaginal sex"
Now lets diggest this:
Furry - Could be a usefull tag, if its actually furry and not a single scene with a girl wearing catears or using a tailplug.
2dcg - no idea what that means
Big Ass - Present in 95% of games and could mean anything from "decently shaped butt" to "unrealistically large butt"
Big Tits - I can hardly remember a game without them.
Cheating - Could be a usefull Tag, if cheating is actually an important aspect of the game, if its "one of the 10 woman you banged had a friend and therefore cheated" its not.
Creampie - Again, are there games without?
Dating Sim - Usefull Tag.
Exhibitionism - Could be...
Handjob - Yeah, again, what game doesnt?
Interracial - Its 2022....
Male Protagonist - Usefull Tag.
Masturabation - Could be...
...
I think I made my point clear.
Going just by the tags here is all I know for sure about the game:
Im male. Its a dating-sim and all I need is my mouse, it has some form of turn based combat system. Oh and its a lewd game.
Thats all the information for "what is in it".
I could deduce a few more of "whats not in it", but honestly if I knew what was in it, I wouldnt need to do that and at least my standards are bit higher than "as long as it doesnt contain X Im happy".
My suggestion would be, if we are adamant about keeping tags like "big ass", that there are two categories of Tags.
One being "Major Tags" which you can only pick a small number of say maximum 3 or 5. These represent the core elements of your game.
The other being "Minor Tags" which may include everything else.
So, we end up with less Tags, but more meaningfull ones.
