100% agreed. Though, when I tried the Japanese NTR games, I really couldn't get into them that much (at all really). But props for effort! However, these AI generated NTR games are even worse, I don't feel like they have a soul in them? Not to mention, the impact of the betrayal (Cheating/I love Netori and Netorare because of a certain game on here), is non-existent since the stories all include the same basic dialogue without personality/voice.Ayo, 100% feel you on this. It’s like every other NTR game now is just AI-generated CG slapped together with a few phone screens and low-effort writing. It’s all flash, no substance. Like, where’s the actual story? Where’s the emotional wreckage we used to get from the OGs? Feels like devs just cranked out a bunch of lazy AI art for a quick buck, no soul behind it. You ain't alone on this one. Most of us are kinda side-eyeing the whole "AI CG NTR phone slop" era. Ain’t hitting the same.
As you said, all flash, no substance. Even if there's a coherence to the story, it's still inhumanely boring.
But I feel this is my fault too, as when I play these types of games, I expect the NTR to happen (And click the choices that lead to it). So that does have an impact.
(To be fair, the only game I really enjoyed and caused me to love NTR is Power Vacuum, nothing else comes even close. Albeit, Whoremonger does approach it in the writing.)
(But that's also the reason I'm working on my project/game as well. )
