Why is subscribestar taking so long to verify my profile?

It's been almost 7 months now since I created the account and put the necessary information on there. Is there something I'm missing here? Do they only verify pages that have extensive detail and links to other social media?

Not sure if anyone can see this yet:

I must have been ignored or lost among the other pages awaiting approval.

"PLEASE, BE AWARE: due to an extremely high volume of recently submitted profiles, the approval will take longer than usual. After this page is approved, you will be able to subscribe as usual. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

7 Months seems a little long though. You should probably write them an email.

Did you send them an EXPEDITE email?

"The approval process is complex and non-unidirectional endeavor. On average it takes between 24 and 72 hours for our Onboarding team to review an application and make a decision. However, sometimes it requires more back and forth correspondence between us and an applicant.
To expedite the process, simply add your SubscribeStar.adult profile address to your existing social networks Contact/About pages and/or to the personal website. When done, send us links to these pages with the word EXPEDITE in the subject line. Such links can be removed after the approval process is over. As an alternative, the link to the profile page can be used in a post or publication just to prove that an applicant has full control over that online entity."

What was the total amount of time that you had to wait for their approval? Did emailing help speed up the process of getting them approved?

Like 5 months, I think setting up your discord and social media speeds it up. Have to link them to substar.

Thanks for your reply. But there's some shit going on with the Twitter link now. It just keeps refreshing the page and that's it. I think it's a bug on their end, I'm not the only one having this problem.

hi ! I'm new to subscribestar, I've done most thing, I'm linking my discord, just a question, do you have to post some posts before the approve your profile ?

I find the fact that you have to connect a discord server for fan to join and hangout is quite overwhelming.. :(

You don't need to post anything until they ask you to. Even if they ask you to, they'll tell you what they want you to post in order to prove it's really you.

If, after 1-2 weeks, they haven't replied yet about the status of your account, they probably will never reply. In this case, you need to shoot them an email and hope they'll reply. I've had two accounts become verified, one was done in a week, and the other I got no emails or status updates on it for 5 months before I sent them an email, then got it done in 3 days.

My account was created like 3-4 months ago but i haven't updated it much since then, I just came back to it recently, filled in all the necessary informations. I also sent them an email. I guess I will wait for update.
Although I can't find the option to bind your other media(like twitter or pixiv) other than discord. I assume it's no longer available ?

When they email you for verification, they'll be asking for 1-2 places where you'll be advertising your stuff or posting content
All they need is a link to it. For me, I just gave them a link to my F95 account and a YouTube account that I don't ever plan on using. On F95 and YouTube, you'd have to have links that link back to your subscribestar account. It's as simple as having the link on your about me section.

Also, the first time I got verified, they asked me to put the subscribestar logo on one of my characters, in a way that it can't be faked, then take a screenshot of it to verify that I'm not just stealing someone else's project.

But that's the gist of it.

I see, I do have some sites that I have big followers to advertise it. do you have an estimate of how quick they're gonna respond ? It's almost 4 days since I mailed them and no reply.

They're most likely not going through emails looking for big names to verify first. Otherwise neither of my accounts would have been verified. Also, there's no way that they'll know who has a big following or not based solely on your profile application. I think it's just luck of the draw, whether whoever is verifying the accounts clicks on your email. Give it a week and email again is the best tip I can give.

I was very small on Patreon when I had my Substar account approved twice.
Like someone else mentioned, it's probably luck of the draw
I have seen people re-apply to get their accounts verified quicker tho, so that might help

so to update, It has been over a week, they're still not replying 2 of my mail. I think my best shot next to is create a new account and wait for a little more. while waiting I think I will also resending some more mails, hope they will see it.

edit* I just checked the 2 mails I sent, so accidentally somehow, I sent it to "support@subscribestar.com" not the "support@subscribestar.adult" like they listed on "Contact Us". I sent the email again this time to the correct address.

so umm, to update, almost the end of the month now, both of my accounts and the emails I sent didn't get any feedback from them. I'm actually kinda disappointed... I don't even know how to get them to verify.

I wrote four times to customer service. No one has ever responded. The account is still dead. So it's all individual. :HideThePain:
