I did a search for this but is there a way for your character to initiate the "sex" or do all the creatures that you can have "sex" with require it to be rape?

I really appreciate the quick response. Do you maybe also know if we can repair axes, pickaxes etc or if we have to make brand new ones once their durability is gone?
You can craft a repair kit from your inventory. You need Wood, Cloth, and Bronze Nails. The repair kits will work on any gear that you have, so, weapons, armor, tools, and anything else that has a 'health/durability' stat.
Personally, I would recommend just throwing away stone tools when they wear out and only use the repair kits on bronze, iron, or steel tools.
Thank you for that, I have been just throwing my stuff away and remaking. I appreciate the info about the repair kits, I didn't notice them.
I got different issue, some spawns don't work at all, others do but all animations are broken, character floats about half a meter to the side of the spawn, just fucking it's side, using cheat to get the spawns.
Furthermore pregancny seems to be stuck at first stage forever so can't finish the quest for that portal girl and fishing quest never started.

you can make repair kits or buy them from the black smith then you just drag and drop the repair kit onto what you want to repair and it fixes it ............you can also find them in the cheat items by hitting your number pad / key
not worth it for cheap easy made stone and bronze stuff but for good swords and armor totally worth it

did you wipe your old saves before starting a new game ???? go into local /appdata ....wicked island and delete the save folder
...if you cant find it make sure its set to show hidden folders
any way delete that and start fresh see if its still an issue

big dragon you mean the one you can ride or the DRAKES ......if you are talking about the one you can ride THEN NO

You can have sex with the dragon. Or at least could a few updates ago when I tried it. You just had to masturbate in front of him.
There are no proper animations though and the offspring will be a troll for whatever reason. Drakes would make more sense.
It's possible that it got removed in the later updates because of it being unfinished content. Though that's obviously not been a good enough reason for things not being in the game in the past.

Candy1970 beat me to it, but as they said, you really should delete the wickedisland folder in Appdata and start a new game, especially if you have played earlier versions of this game.
This game has a habit of changing engine/background 'stuff' that just wreaks havoc with save files from previous versions.
There is a potion you can craft with the Cauldron, called Potion of Regret, which will terminate any pregnancy that is 'stuck' in any of the trimesters.
The animations are kind of broken in this version. Some of them seem to work just fine and some just go bonkers, akin to what you describe. That is a game issue, not anything wrong on your machine.
So hopefully my last question for awhile. I searched and found conflicting things about the preg, do the monsters "finish" or does the scene just loop until you press B and end the scene? I turned on preg but so far my character is not getting preg. Thanks for the help.

hit the number pad 8 to see the cumshots and creampies and the B to end the cycle if you hit y to masturbate when you hit B and come out you will be masturbating again to stop it hit Y again if you wait one or two seconds and hit Y he will come back and fuck you again after the 3rd time he becomes your pet ...he will disappear but you will have a token for him in your inventory you can place the token in your hot bar and move click to use it and he will re appear ........hit E to communicate with it Caution if you hit E and do not see a reason to talk or changed your mind ...the n click on never mind instead of trying to hit the X on chat box ...because if you do it can break your game and you will have no way to save have to restart with the last known save and lose progress you made since then
Actually in 8.5.9 you can have sex with it, the big dragon, although since I did that and then it seems it's broken (can't ride it again) I think probably to avoid as buggy.
As the big dragon is buggy for me on 2nd run (I did an initial "test" and it worked correctly, flying, controlling - but didn't save that test, exiting) but after I went back, sexed and then rode, quite buggey - and couldn't get back on the dragon (unresponsive to E etc). So probably to avoid doing that, not particulary worth it.

There are Oral, Anal, and Vaginal sex scenes. The anal and vaginal scenes can look exactly alike. The default pregnancy chance is 10%.
So, depending on the monster you are fucking, the position they have chosen, AND the chance of being pregnant. You could end up having sex a few times and not get knocked up.
I am pretty sure that when you are in the scene, it just loops over and over, there is no climax scene where the monster tries to impregnate you over and over and over and over, until your slut is pregnant with their baby. You get a looping sex scene and once you press the B key to end the scene, that is when the monster cums and the dice are rolled to see if your character is pregnant (assuming that it was vaginal sex).
Note: If you are pressing the C key, thinking that it is making the monster orgasm over and over and over and over, inside your slut's pussy, it ain't. It is a visual display only. It doesn't work that great, but what it does do, is 'paint' your character with some jizz on them, wherever your aiming point is located.
Some 8.5.9 questions (clarifications)
A. Seed: since the Research Bench is no more, is there any use any more for the Seed (or is it pointless?) - I think right now there is none but a few posts earlier seem to imply there's some use?
B. Horse: is it just me or is the horse glacially slow - I feel I can run faster - but perhaps I am missing something I should have done.

The exact same one I was talking about. Like I said, I guess the dev disabled the option to do that at some point but you could when I last tried in a v0.8.4.something version.
Someone else may know more, but here is what is rattling around in my brain about it:
A: If you are desperate for cash, I think you can sell it to the vendors in town, but that is about it. As you said, the Research Bench has been removed and collecting cum for use at that table was the only use for it in the game.
B: Press and hold Shift and the horse should start running. The horse moves pretty damn fast for me when it is running, in 'walking mode' I think snails are faster.
The controls in this version (0.8.5.9) is bugged out (at least for me), you need to press D for forward, A for Reverse/stop, W turns the horse to the right, and S turns the horse to the left.
