1: Go into settings > game settings, then scroll down to the bottom. There is a setting for the pregnancy time multiplier. Just change it to 0.1 and it will speed things up.
2: Seed is used to create a summoner. You create them with the Research table which you can craft with the Building Plan. You need 10 seed to create all summoners except the Archdemon which only takes 5. You can also create a summoner with a baby.
Thanks for the help!

Good, but my animations are bad. The characters turn at different angles every time. But overall the idea is cool. I wish good luck to the dev
Someone mentioned earlier that if you intiate animations after combat there will be alignment issues, but if you just stand still or use masturbation animations are fine

your Laptop has no number pad ? how old is it ? tbh i never heard of that
Like I have number keys [123..] however the game specifically requires numb pads instead. Every time I try changing the anim keys to use my actual number keys it just resets itself after saving everything and goes back to default numb pads. It's quite annoying and I can't seem to find a fix for it. This also seems to apply to the partner POV issue I seem to be having..

Hi,

thx for the game. I've searched for a trick to solve the following issue without finding :

When changing the keyboard settings, the keys are never changed in the "GameUserSettings.ini" file. When i quit and come back i have to change it every time.

i 'm not looking for a debugging package except if it already exists, but could someone send his "GameUserSettings.ini" file (in c:\users\XXX\AppData\Local\WickedIsland\Saved\Config\Windows) if it contains the key mapping in it.

thx
I think it is either a game bug or the game is intentionally not saving key bindings.

I tried remapping my screenshot key ( to \ instead of F12) and it worked fine while the game was running, but exiting and restarting the game reset the screenshot button to the default (F12). The game settings file on my machine has nothing but graphics settings, there are no key bindings anywhere in the file, it is the same as what you posted.

If you can afford it, you can purchase a USB/Wireless Number pad (Amazon has them for about $10-$20USD).
It may not be the best solutions, but it is probably going to be the only solution right now for this game.

I cannot save key mappings on my machine either, I get the feeling that it is either a bug or it is intentional that the key mappings are not saved.

Unplayable for me - game launches, but I can't update screen resolution and it doesn't accept the windows screen resolution, keeps trying to go full screen on whatever it wants which doesn't match my ultrawide monitor.
I also can't click on most of the options in the menus to try to fix it.
trying to create a character has about half the options working and others not responding at all.

So, it looks like loading presets is broken too. It doesn't even show me the presets that come with the game.

EDIT: Never mind, you have to put them in the game's directory under %appdata%/Local/

Try going into GameUserSettings.ini located in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\WickedIsland\Saved\Config\Windows and editing screen resolution there. Just open it with notepad or something similar. Look for screen resolution values. Maybe make a backup of it before you edit because there are other settings that if you change them you may not be able to see your character ingame.

New bugs:

- On a RTX 4070 with the default settings, the game will switch player-constructed building parts and workstations to the lowest LOD, which is billboard textures, at a hilariously close range. I only have to stand maybe 4 meters away from my farming plots for them to look like two intersecting flat planes with a kinda-sorta farming plot textures on them.

- The vendor interface initially shows your money as 0 and it'll start showing the right amount if you buy or sell something.

- Monster ragdolls flip out completely and at worst start flying around. That makes archery both funny and frustrating as after you pump 20 arrows into some enemy, they could be flying in a ballistic arc towards the horizon, taking all those arrows with them.

- Building uses/requires no materials despite the interface saying it does. No idea if that's intentional and temporary to make testing the game easier, or if it's a mistake.

On the positive side, logs don't seem to drop through the ground anymore and it's much easier to target branches on the ground to pick them up than in the past versions, which is nice.

Wait until you try chopping down a few cacti in the desert area. The cactus is about 1 meter high, but the logs spawn about 50 meters away. If you wait for the cactus to fall and line yourself up with it and go straight forward, you can usually find the logs out there somewhere.
If it spawned a couple pieces of wood, akin to how ore nodes work, that would be great, but the falling tree sound and the logs spawning at some obscene distance from the cactus, is a little strange.
I have to say it's beyond weird to have to... chase a log that is bizarrely rolling away from you and then... just disappears into the ground.

Someone who know what to do?

I am guessing that you are using some flavor of Linux, when I searched for the 'Out of memory on Vulkan ......' all the links were for Linux systems.

I poked at the internet for a few minutes and the only thing that I can see offhand that might help will be to edit the gameusersettings.ini file and change this section to look like this:
[D3DRHIPreference]
PreferredFeatureLevel=sm5
PreferredRHI=dx11

Running the game as DX11 should reduce the demand on your video card. It helped me out a lot with my machine when I changed it to use DX11 (instead of DX12).
I have no idea where that file will be located on a linux machine, on Windows it is in the appdata\local\wickedisland\config\windows.

The only other things I can think of is that you just don't have enough video ram for this game or you don't have enough space for your swap/page file. If you are using an onboard GPU, try increasing the vram in BIOS, if you have a discrete card, it just may not have the power to handle this particular UE5 game

I ended up deleting that file and restarting the game, all the interface issues I had starting a new game resolved. Now able to set resolution as I like.

That being said, something funky about the hair and eye colors - could not get a dark red on the hair nor vibrant green eyes.
ended up some version of pink or white or black, but never red. Similar on eyes, none of the built in eye colors were what I'd call a strong green and if you turn on the illumination it's washed out.

I was able to then get in and play the game a bit, although the tutorial stuff with the fisherman ignores if you have already done some of those steps, like making a spear, etc.

True enough. I tried to make purple eyes, but there wasn't really a good option to make that happen. So I added some purple glow, but as low glow as possible. Looks a little too much, but at least its purple I guess. Hopefully we get more eye color options in the future.
Every UE game I've played has this color issue. Lots of options, but the colors feel like they are going thru a filter of another color. Or multiple colors. I don't think the devs can do much about this, but thats just a guess I don't really know.
Also, if you are starting a new game I suggest wiping that whole save directory, but save your character presets and back them up somewhere. Going into a new save will not reset a lot of things in the world. For example, crystals can only be acquired once in their locations and even if you start a new save they won't be there anymore. Summoned monsters from one character save can show up on a new character save. Not sure what thats about as I've not seen this in any other game before. Some of this I've not tested on the new revision, but I assume they still persist.

Does the walk function work properly on this version?
Sadly, it does not. Shame really, I'd spend a lot time just walking and staring at that sexy ass. I get that there are other more pressing matters, but its already in the game. You can even walk if you're tapping the forward movement button instead of pressing it. Its forced on you when you are carrying too much weight. Its even identified in the input menu with a default key "N". Surely we'll see it working soon I hope.

I like the idea of the farm plots as a mechanic to allow you to automate or simplify the harvesting of some things and the idea of being 'self sufficient'. They just disappoint me, due to the fact that I have to harvest large quantities of plants, just to collect the rare/semi-rare seeds to plant in a farm plot, which, in my mind, kind of defeats the purpose of having the farms in the first place.

I think what I would really want is a merchant or trader that sells the various seeds or a way to 'convert' things like wheat, berries, and such, into seeds. As long as I had a way to get ahead of the curve on seeds vs 'product', I wouldn't have a problem at all with using the farm plots and would probably be okay with sinking time into using them. But, as long as the amount of stuff I have to harvest outstrips the farm plots output, they just feel useless to me.

It's all good to me, just ranting and venting some about things in the game. Thanks for all the tips and thoughts, I appreciate it.

I echo this x100.

We need a way to get seeds from crushing flowers or some other way to get seeds reliably. Because I want to plant colored flowers but I mostly get fibre seeds to plant simply because flowers so rarely give seeds in comparison to easily finding fibre to collect.

Btw. Does anyone have a full map screenshot they can share, please;)
