i think 8.6.0 has some substantial bugs so maybe it's best to wait for a hotfix anyways imo

Seems like the wait on uploading is to wait for hotfixes. I don't mind that. Don't want a game that is constantly crashing neither lol.
You need to build a campfire, it is in the build menu under the crafting tab.
When you make the campfire there should be a button that says Turn On, just add some wood and click that button and it starts a fire.
Note: The campfire (and torches) consume wood while it is turned on. So, when the campfire runs out of wood it will turn off and you can't start it again until you add more wood. It is the same thing for any floor or wall torches that you build.
There is an item called Evercoal that you can create in the Cauldron. It replaces the need for wood AND it never gets used up, so you can turn on a torch or campfire and never worry about it running out of wood fuel.
The dragon is supposed to give you a quest and once you complete that quest you should be able to ride the dragon and fly around.
The dragon is pretty buggy in this version (0.8.5.9) and, personally, I would recommend staying away from it.

Trust me, it will bug out, there is a sex scene but it looks weird as fuck. The controls have been buggy and leaving you with only the option to fly backward. Your game will end up crashing the UI, leaving you unable to exit the game with any option other than ALT+F4.
People have hopped onto the dragon and then been unable to dismount or just fall off the dragon. People have been unable to even interact with the dragon in the first place.

Just to the small wood area to left of the fisherman's hut entrance. branches, wood, wheat, carrots. Aim your pointer at the ground as you walk.
She lives in a tower just above the town.
So, if you approach the town from the lake, there should be a tower up the hill and to the right of the town, that tower is where Isabel is. You shouldn't be able to miss it, it is a huge white tower that overlooks the town and has this big, glowing, portal right next to it. Enter that portal and you will find her.

Go into your settings and make sure you have enabled pregnancy, it is disabled by default. After that, you need to adjust the pregnancy chance to whatever you desire, the default is 10% but you can crank it all the way up to 100% for any sex scene.
Note: The status effects for pregnancy can be pretty rough if you are just starting out in the game, so be aware that by the 2nd or 3rd trimester, a newish character will kinda suck while they are pregnant.
Those settings should be under Game Play, but it won't hurt you to go through all of the tabs, especially the Input Settings. That has all of the bindings for the various keys (including the binding for the cheat menu).

The dev posted a brief video in discord showing a startup character in the new build running around doing the fisherman's quest. It wasn't anything new really so I'm not going to post it here, but there are inventory icon changes that look pretty cool.
However, he did mention that the new build will be released soon. And for a bit of context, he rarely posts about updates so I expect to see something soon.

I think that our benefactors for this thread have held off on posting the 8.6 update because it was in a pretty buggy state. I remember that happening once before and the bitching was mighty when that buggy version dropped on this thread.
I have been itching for 'more' on this game, can't wait to see a new update, especially with a working breeding station.

Same... Its been kinda rough seeing people talk about the newer build with the additions and such. But there is more talk of the nasty bugs. So I keep telling myself, soon enough. I get frustrated with about every new build with the new bugs it brings. It fixes some things that feel like I'm pulling a thorn from my side, but adds others that make it feel like I'm pushing that thorn right back in. Point is, I'm not so eager for newest release anymore. Would rather practice patience and play something more stable or at least more new shit than bugs.
