Sorry i tried, but i don't want to list them into a top list. My all time favorites are My sweet Neighbors, Sisterly Lust, Intertwined and Chasing Sunsets (not in that particularly order), from there it divides into nuances.

Hm, i don't know, why they should all have common ground to another. I play what i like, my tastes differ.
But nonetheless many of them are kinda similar, but differ in story, setting, character diversity, emotionality, featured kinks etc. (Cookie Cutter VN's)

So what do i really enjoy about VN's is, i can immerse myself (easily) into other realms of passion and desire, having a good time reading the story's and enjoying the arts (render quality, animations, compositions of scenes etc.).
Of course i favor some kinks more then others. Others i don't like so much are often optional and easily avoidable. I know that there are some stranger/niché kinks, in my List, but that's just how and what i like.
But i provide the Tags for every listed game, so no suprises from my side here.

3D Arts are more appealing to me than 2D. Animations are not a must have, but i do like some really good made ones for certain.
I can give the story the doubt of believebility for some time, but if i have to much inner facepalms i quit. A Change of direction that counters the protagonists motives will kill it for me too.

I added Statuses (ongoing, completed, etc.) to the Spoilers.
Don't want to catogarize them.
I like my alphabetical order.

By far this is the greatest post potentially of all F95. I literally have this post bookmarked and go from there. I've played nearly every one of your recommendations and can say rarely am I disappointed. I knew from the first time I saw the artwork in your banner that we likely had something in common where we enjoy our women a little less radically endowed. lol
