There's a lot of preferences and many people want an actual porn game, that mixes eroticism with gameplay. Otherwise they could just go look up some images somewhere. And since people have different tastes in gameplay so will porn games vary in their gameplay aswell.

You're also not the only person playing porn games, some people are interested in actual games with porn elements, rather than just a game with boring shallow gameplay as a vehicle to view CGs. If you're not interested in actual gameplay with the game then just do VNs or RPGM games, if you're interested in neither story nor gameplay then just look up normal porn/doujins.
