FMC's behavior and morals are very mature and this is great, it makes you fall in love with her more, it makes the story and characters more realistic, it increases the logic of the game, a married FMC should talk like this, she should act like this,she should not be like some other games that forget everything after seeing the first dick of another man, including her husband and principal, etc ! You can tell a lot about this FMC from his appearance, from his personality, from his attributes, one of the great things about this FMC is that she is not stupid! I hate stupid FMCs who do stupid things for stupid reasons, the next thing is that she is not shy, she is very confident, I also said her looks are amazing

MC's presonality is not as strong as FMC, but he is stronger than 99% of MCs in sharing games. He is very confident, not a loser, and is not afraid of bullies and unlike his sidekicks, he fights bullies, his appearance is also acceptable

The writing of this game is excellent, the developer of this game knows how to make a logical story with mature characters, there are no dialogues as if the developer is only thinking with his dick, you can enjoy every dialogue.

I forgot something: the drama of the first game is great, we saw some heavy dramas in the first game, but these dramas made the love between mc and fmc more, it made us fall in love with fmc much more

Kind of a shame, because when this first came out it easily could have turned into a five star game, but the updates since then have been pushing this in a less than great direction.

Pros:
-The wife is portrayed as considerate and loving without being a literal doormat. She has her own agency in the story, but not at the expense of her relationship with her husband. This is a balance that many writers struggle to achieve.
-The teasing photos that Lara sent when she was tutoring Lucas were great, but what was even better was how she reacted to what she did after. The regret and shame that she felt for jumping into this new idea too quickly and crossing several boundaries that she never thought she'd even come close to really hit her hard, and the conflicted emotions that she had over the situation really helped solidify that she does truly care for her husband, and wants to have a happy and healthy relationship with him.
-No humiliation. I pray the dev keeps their word on that. There are too many games out there where the wife is just nasty and mean to the MC, which is a huge turn off for me.

Cons:
-We already had a decent base of characters for the story to unfold, why the hell are we introduced to new people every single update? There's nothing wrong with having a decently sized cast, but so far every update has been focused on introducing one ore more new characters into the story, and that's a big concern. Tons of shallow characters do not make for a great story, and if they don't serve a purpose, they shouldn't be in the story in the first place. Why did we need the sleazy guy at the strip club to be introduced to give the first scene where Lana is tempted to fulfill her husband's cuck fantasies, why not use literally any of the preexisting characters? Why did we need Ben introduced to push the story forward with Lucas instead of things progressing naturally on their own? So many characters introduced in the early stages of this game makes it so there is no time to focus on any of them, and all of them feel shallow.
-Because so many characters are introduced repeatedly that all serve the same purpose, it feels like the story is retreading the same ground over and over. The update that introduced the strip club gave us Edgar, who hits on Lana but gets rejected because she's not ready to take that step yet and didn't like him. This update gave us Ben, who hits on the wife and while it's a cliffhanger ending is VERY likely to get rejected because she's still not ready to cross that step and also doesn't like him.
-Some of the characters' personalities are grating. Some of them were designed to be like that, but they're still annoying. Ben, Blake, Edgar, even Kenji to a lesser extent... too many of the characters are too unlikable. Especially with Blake, the dev is trying way too hard to make him unlikable and it's basically turned him into a caricature. We get it, he's a douche, you don't need to keep hammering it in every five seconds he's on the screen.
-The one coworker that confesses he and his wife are experimenting with swinging. Jesus Christ, this guy needs a hug. I know most people playing this game won't see his situation as bad since they like the idea of netorase and swinging, but holy fuck, that explanation he gave on how he got into that situation was just depressing. Dude's wife cheats on him and starts making out with random people in the club, yells at him for not being ok with the fact that she's making out with random people in the club, then gets gas lit and browbeaten by her and his therapist into accepting that she wants to cheat on him. Like, what the FUCK. Just because it aligns with the dev's/player's fetishes does not mean it's healthy, this situation is horrible.

TLDR:
Very promising start has been marred by too many new characters that don't feel necessary, and nearly all of them retread the same ground covered in the last update. While the relationship between the MC and his wife is depicted as healthy and loving, some of the side characters situations give me serious red flags on what the dev considers a "loving relationship" for netorase. Hope this one turns itself around, but it's really heading in the wrong direction for now.

Updates take too long. content is close to zero and the sudden change in storyline is awful. The game started out very, VERY promising but went downhill real fast. Hopefully the developer can turn things around but right now its not worth playing or paying for.

This game already has its plot and method revised in another well-known game, too bad, that it brings with it all the defects of that one and adds more, I would have expected that at least in this version things would have been better, but I see that unfortunately we are very poor in our imagination, needless to say, a copy of something that already exists

I waited a while to try this one, and I should have waited longer. After several updates since it's release, there's almost no content here. There are exactly two choices, and maybe fifteen minutes of story. (v0.3 atm)
The plot isn't anything new so far, but the pacing of the story is fine. The pacing of the corruption (or whatever you want to call it here) seems steep, but it might be too early to tell. The artwork is great for the style.

In the end, I'm mostly disappointed there isn't more here, and I'm concerned at how little the updates seem to contribute. This feels like an initial release, but it's been out for months.
It has the promise to become a decent title, though nothing groundbreaking, and it still might take years before it reaches it.

Art is nice and original so far. Writing is good. Cast is relatively diverse and hot (e.g., old man, highschool/shota, interracial, etc), and hopefully grows to be a good number of characters readers can be invested in. So far, things seems consensual with swinging, sharing, cucking etc, which is nice (Won't mind if there are other branches to harder stuff as well, as long as there is choice). All in all, a promising game, and look forward to its development.

the game has perfect pacing, just as the theme it addresses must be developed. It's at an early stage, but you can already see its personality, which sets it apart from the rest. I highly recommend it.

Excellent execution so far. The chemistry and love between the wife and husband feel very real and wholesome. Unique hand drawn artstyle is also a plus. Can't wait for the next update when Lana finally starts fucking other guys.

So far there hasn't been any humiliation aspect to the ntr which is a big relief. However, I still wouldn't mind Lana saying stuff like "His cock is so much better than yours" or denying the MC sex to fuck someone else (playfully). If these things can be done without the humiliation aspect, I believe it adds to the game's netorase elements a lot.

Amazing Art, Great Story, Love the Concept.

Wife in the Building! is a VN about a happily married couple and their time with the neighbors.

At least, that's probably what it's about? There's frankly not very much content here at the moment. It took me less than thirty minutes to get through it all. Nevertheless, what's here is pretty decent so far.

There's been a large amount of focus on the husband and wife's backstory and teasers for several other potential characters. I wish we had more attractive options available as so far we have shota, old man, and large dude. I'm not asking for waifu to be fucking Adonises necessarily, but I doubt she'd be too interested in touching any of them frankly.

I'm impressed by the sheer volume of art in the game so far. While it may be all static images, they seem to shift with every couple lines of dialogue. While the art style is very anime, maybe too anime, I'm not disappointed by how it lines up with the text. There's two sex scenes at the moment, the first much longer than the second, and they look pretty good.

It honestly feels a little unfair to review the game with so little content, but well, it's posted so I did what I could. It's definitely not good enough to rate five stars off such little content, but I feel like the game has potential. I'll be curious to see where it goes from here and will revise my review accordingly.
