Unreal Engine - Wild Life [Patreon Build 2024.04.19] [Adeptus Steve]

The current version is quite unstable. Many issues and bugs are found with the new U5 engine, quality has plummeted significantly, framerate has decreased, graphics are worse overall, the stability of the game and files has taken a hit, and the U5 engine appears to heavily tax even higher end super PC's. The new UI and body posing system does not function as intended, the new systems are not very user friendly compared to the old systems, and scenes are less controllable and customizable as compared to previous versions. Sandbox custom files are corrupted by the new current version upon loading and ruin all previously saved data, files, and maps, this needs to be addressed ASAP.

While I applaud the devs for trying to move towards the newer system and implement new aspects to the game, the old U4 engine appeared to function vastly greater as far as stability and playability and the old systems, UI, and aspects of the game were overall much more user friendly and functional for what the game needed. I hope the devs can resolve these issues and game breaking bugs moving forward, but if not maybe rolling back to U4 will benefit this game best. I'm hoping for the best.

Animations are good, textures and meshs, amazing. Still, some stock assets are to be found here and there but that's okay for now.

Something that isn't okay is that the game is in developement for 6 years ongoing, they make more than a million a year in patreonmoney alone and still, the game lacks substantial elements to this very day. There's no plot, no story no gameplay itself. It's just a gallery of scenes and a 'somewhat' working prop/housing designer for you to run around and create smaller cells for you to view the animations in. That what we have, again, isn't bad, quite the opposite, but the time it took and all the stuff they haven't even started working on, obviously, makes this the new Star Citizen of porn games. All the promises, but nothing happening.

They started re-working the old free map 3 times, we are currently in the third cycle. The last time, the map featured a lot of somewhat fleshed out and interesting stuff to explore. since about they started over, year or so, the map is basically empty, unfinished and 'pre-alpha' looking. But, instead of working on this much needed map, they think its better to work on areas to show a few eastereggs and 'possible' future gimmicks.........

The final question, why does it take them so long for so little?
The answer is the same. Over and over again. Because there are too many dumb cows out there, ruining it. People are greedy, that will never change. But if you even make them have an easier time being greedy, you get what you deserve, i'd say.

seems to have shocking little content in a terrible sandbox for having so many views. Have only played the start area of the game but did not see any means of progression or a non awkward manner of posing characters.

Well done SIR. Out of the many devs who usually flake out of a project, you're of the very few, who have been more consistent than even most AAA titles.. i hope like hell you'll continue with the bleeding edge development i've been seeing.. your UI friendliness is among the best out there, if not the best. Honestly, i'd dare say you're beginning to rival VaM. Keep it up bro!

You'll very quickly notice every single negative review is saying:
There's no story, there's no content, or something along these lines.

Then you'll notice anyone with a brain bring up that it's a DEMO, IN-DEVELOPMENT game.

Okay so why are people raving over this amazing game? What's up about it? It's surely not just really good animations right?
CORRECT!

SANDBOX!
So this game(demo), in its current state has an insanely high level of freedom currently in its SANDBOX mode! You can create high quality scenes if you know your way around building with given shapes and textures, as well as pre-created decorations and architecture you can easily select in the sandbox menu.
It doesn't end there, the level of freedom is essentially infinite, as you can even import your own 3d models and use them as buildings and props/decorations for your SCENE.
The lighting is entirely customizable, and you can create any effect you can imagine light wise with a bit of skill.
After decorating an area, or before if you want. You can add sex poses and animations. Allowing you to create videos, screenshots, or gifs of what you created and share it or put it in your fap vault and lock it up for yourself.
IT DOESN'T EVEN END THERE! You can also use many different EVENT-SYSTEM devices implemented in the sandbox, allowing some skilled people to even create their own interactable story games or games within a sandbox and share it! (Though I will admit the people who figure the EVENT-SYSTEM on here, are the same redstone addicts from Minecraft).

Okay, so what about the GAME GAME??
The only downside really! And it's entirely fair to have this, as it's simply IN-DEVELOPMENT, you can check all of the progress which is PUBLIC ON PATREON. They aren't hiding a single thing about their progress and will even answer questions you have in the official or UNOFFICAL discord when they have the chance! INCREDIBLE!
The game is said to be a story driven action adventure RPG game, that's a big claim! From what I've seen though, IT WILL take a while, but it's definitely coming along based on development posts!

TLDR
If you're into sandbox and entire freedom, such as minecraft creative mode, but with sexy scenes and such. THIS GAME IS GREAT FOR YOU.

If you're only here for a story, COME BACK ANOTHER TIME, it's not here yet at all, it's in development!

Wild Life is the game with the best animations out there - they're so fluid and well executed, but then, unfortunately, that's the only selling point of the game yet.

The developers don't quite know where they want to go with this game after all these years. Beasts? Humans? Sandbox Engine? Story? Open World? They try to accomplish all in the same time, which leads to various issues:

1. Beast content does cockblock great human content each update. Time "wasted" on some cows or little demons having sex will lead to fewer human content which'd speak to a way larger audience. Also, there is this 200kg guy with green skin that looks like puke - don't enjoy watching this guy with 5 fat rings having sex? Well, you're again missing out on a lot of content since lots of animations are hardlocked on him.

2. The Sandbox is great, but it's also clumsy in the same time. There are so many things that desperately scream for quality of life updates, such as cameras automatically getting names and possess functions so you don't need to type it in 100 times for 100 cams. Fade in / out should also be a tick box between cameras, instead now you need to deploy a fade out event, give it a name, give it a trigger, add cams and so on, and it doesn't even work properly if you hide the UI. Which means if you want to enjoy your custom sex scenes with fades between, you have to have the UI in the picture all the time.

3. Story? Open World? Maps? Well, they've been working on this for years, yet there's nothing. I think they're rebuilding the world map now for the third time. They should decide whether they want to create a sandbox game or a story game, but both in the same time doesn't go well. Also the performance is really worse if you go into the demo village, laggy as hell on a modern high end machine.

4. Lack of content. Each update (2 months) comes with 5 new sex scenes or so and some bugfixes. That's not enough, especially not considering the fact that they get 100.000€ a month through Patreon. With this money you could easily bang out 50 new sex scenes every two months while there's still TONS of money for all the other stuff.

That's because they're not good at setting priorities, so instead they went to do a motion capture session in order to create some funny dances and fortnite-y like emojis for the ingame characters, while everyone is waiting for new sex scenes and sandbox features. Like.. did you even think for a minute about how to spend your budget and time? Things like that should be on the very end of the list at this stage of development.

If they don't start to set a straight focus, prioritize things and then finish that core game before they add more features or niche stuff like beasts, this game isn't going anywhere in the near future.

Good graphic and OF COURSE... ANIMATION AWESOME !

But yeah everyone already know Wild life, it's big boss over here.

If I want to be tiring, i would say customisation of character need to be improve. Let damn choice to give any clothes available to any character.

And also the fact main quest doesnt move ....

Absolutely an impressive tech demo masquerading as a game. Functionally you have the ability to use a console to spawn characters and watch sex animations. That's it. That is literally it. There are tiny fragments of a game theoretically existing here but nothing more. Makes Star Citizen look like a paragon of delivering on promises in a timely fashion. At this point I'm convinced that Wild Life is a scam. Try it, look at the sex animations, everything is pretty and the world is theoretically impressive. Imagine the game it could be. Then wait another 5 years(it has taken more than 5 years to get to this point) and there might be a game. Do not under any circumstances give the developers a cent.

The graphics is the best thing about this game. Everything else is pretty average though I'm afraid.

Sex scenes, the most important part, mostly lack any depth and animations are very underwhelming considering the size of the game.

3 stars of 5 cause I did mostly enjoy it, I just expected more

Its not a game. You have a demo that is nice. But considering how long this was in development there is nothing really there. You play the demo and its okay, it showcases some of the stuff they're able to do. But that's about it.

After you're done with the demo all you can do is try out the sandbox part but there is nothing there. You can look at animations and that's it. Its the main part of the game and there is no gameplay.
You can I guess generate your own scenes with a lot of creativity but then I got the game to play it, creating my own scenes should be a side activity not the main one.
You're basically taking the work away for the devs who apparently don't bother with making a game any longer. Its an animation viewer, it shouldn't even be in the game section.

Here's what I noticed. The game itself is just perfect in terms of graphics, but the plot is 0 The world is huge and there is no need to spend time exploring the world All games of this genre remind me of the game: 3D Sex Villa
animations, graphics for DLS if done, the game will be perfect. So far, in this update, the game is raw, there is nothing like that. Sandbox to look and delete. More than 10 GB game and everything is empty

I downloaded the top 1 game on the site to see why there are 5 stars. Downloaded and I expected more. According to the screenshots, we have a female protagonist. There's a man. Quests here are boring but fast content 18+ in the demo map. The graphics, characters and visuals are perfect. But there is nothing more to do here. You can see all the animations in the sandbox. In reality, the game weighs 12 GB and there is nothing to do here .. The graphics are perfect, and the rest is 1 star. I don't know why the game has overrated ratings but so far the game is 3 stars on this release

It's a wonderful game. Women are beautifully designed, interactions and sex scenes are really good, and the sandbox allows a lot of customization. It's excellent, there is no word which fits better this game than "excellent"

Dont get me wrong, this has good animations, models, scenery, etc. This game has a lot of potential (especially with the monthly income listed on patreon).

The issue is I feel like they focused more on the animations and scenery rather than the actual game itself. Going into the weapon testing area and trying out the combat was kinda bad. It reminded me of a unreal/unity asset flip. Parry window is very forgiving, the dodge doesn't feel like a dodge since its just sprinting, guns are basically ineffective unless you're fighting an enemy with a lot of health (even then, the pistol is pretty wack), and the movement in general feels weirdly floaty and restrictive at the same time. Really dont like how ADSing lowers your sensitivity without any option to either turn that off or increase/decrease the ADS sensitivity. If the gun range tells me anything, its that the gameplay will end up being "Walk backwards, shoot, repeat" or "Spam parry, hit the enemy 2-3 times, repeat"

I get that its not a finished game, but I remember awhile ago when the old map was used and they had quests to do with enemies that you can kill. It felt a lot better killing enemies back then compared to killing enemies now. I dont know if he'll work on the gameplay at all seeing how most of the updates are new sex scenes rather than actual game progress, but I could be wrong and he's still working on the actual gameplay.

Either way, as of 10-21-22, if you're looking for an actual game, I dont suggest this. If you're looking for a sandbox to look at animations in, then go right ahead. That's all this game is right now.

Once this "game" is properly filled out with a story/quests and something to do, this goes up to a 5/5 without a doubt. But in the current stage it is in, it's not a 5/5. Yes, the graphics, animations, controls and the demo they have already are good. You can even fail in getting sex if you fail at the controls or behave stupidly which not many games are confident enough to do.

However, at the moment it is just a sandbox and downloading 12GB+ for a 30-45min demo is a bit much. If you're looking for an actual game, this is, unfortunately, not one, at the moment. But definitely keep this on your radar because - as I said - once they add proper quests/story, this could easily become one of the best games here.

This game has the potential to be the best adult game out there. Exceptional physics and graphics, thanks to the latest UE. The writing, albeit thin, is actually cohesive and leans toward the mature rather than silly end of the spectrum, and characters do seem to behave in a believable manner, given that you remove all societal inhibitions and personal insecurities.
Very much looking forward to the final release... some 10-15 years down the line, after their patreons have been milked for all their worth.

I've been on-off playing this game since it first came out, but only just had to pop in to leave a review after trying the latest version (24.06.2022). It has come a long way and with all the improvements made to the sandbox editor mode, well, let's just say that it is very fappable. Not much more I can say that hasn't already been said, just thought it well deserved a 5 star bump.

If I had to knock one thing I'd just say the internal climaxes leave a bit to be desired (and a lot of poses lack any to begin with). The external cumshots are pretty good but the internal ones don't leave you a lot to look at. Could exaggerate overflow, or x-ray or something idk.

They were good in UE4 version, could crank all setting to max, 4K, I've got ok rig, not amazing, but it rans AAA games fine at max settings, but this? Nope. Of course the game isn't finished but the switch to UE5 was the dumbest thing they could do, especially since it doesn't appear they really needed to switch so no all optimization is gone. Gettign playable FPS now means dropping settings down so graphics take a hit.

- great animations

They are still good... but the novelty wore of, there are now other games that also have pretty good animations, it's been like what, 5 years of development now? I check the game every now and then but despite game getting new animations often, they all are pretty similar, most still don't have all the variations, there is no cum inflation, no x-ray, no cervix penetration, stomach bulges are inconsistent and don't change regardless of size of female character and size of male penis or it's shape.

- customization (and more of it coming)

Game has some... but not more than it had, you still can't really deeply customize characters, can't make females smaller or males larger, can't change penis size/shape, can't do much about breasts if you prefer them to be really big or small or do specific shapes.

- decent camera control during sex scenes
- decent but not amazing cum physics
- belly bulging (but only on some scenes, still kinda crappy and baked into animation, size and shape of male penis makes no difference)

Now for the bads because it has some:

- belly bulging is very minor, and not only occurs with some character combinations which clearly means it's a manual animation, not something that happens proceduraly because of penis size, the bulging often doesn't reflect size, depth or number of penetrating objects
- since game already has decent cum physics, does bulging and big on small character scenes with beast flavor I'd expect some more extreme stuff like cervix penetration, x-ray, all the way through fucking, cum inflation.
- story currently doesn't exist aside from simple and short intro and few quests and now no longer avaiable story with Maya which was removed from the game some time ago, all you have is the village demo.

Things got even worse, now the game has NO STORY AT ALL, new map is buggy, empty, ugly, can't save/load, characters get stuck on terrain, now it's all that stupid sandbox and nothing else.

- game looks good but could run better, I have pretty high end setup with RTX GPU and 16 core CPU, plenty of ram, fast SSD and the game stil lags, hopefully final release improves performance.

Crossed out because as I wrote earlier, things got worse in UE5 version despite less content.

If the game develops story faster, improves performance, adds better (procedural) and more consitent and larger bulging with more characters and cum inflation I can give them game 5/5 and call it the best, but it's not yet and because of all the stuff they removed recently, slow development despite raking in 100k+ a month on Patreon the game is SHIT, previous rating 4/5 - now 1/5. DON'T SUPPORT IT.
