Unreal Engine - Wild Life [Patreon Build 2024.06.14] [Adeptus Steve]

Don't get this a wrong way but...

This is nothing more than a promo. Yes it has a some good and impressive parts as any promotional material would. Good visuals and good animations which is basically it. That is why you just can not look over some of the glaring issues this project has.

It is just a promo, a showroom if you want, that has been in development since 2017 (almost three years now) and it has not shown much progress during these years. The story is still lacking, the quests are not there, RPG elements are not there, world itself is not there.

For three years all that was shown is a small piece of environment with a few characters and a few animations (new characters/animations were added during these years but just a few). What is worse and what disturbs is that in the road map of this project it is promised that the Vertical Slice will be released in the middle of this summer. Three years to create a vertical slice, huh. Just thinking about it makes you sad.

Because of all things mentioned above I just can not recommend this game (it is hard to call it that) to anyone. It doesn't have much to it, it doesn't have substance. If you want to just watch some animations then it will suit you, but if you want an adult rated game with gameplay story and other things, that is definitely not the place. It feels like in 5-10 years it might become a great adult RPG game, in the mean time tho don't get your hopes up.

The game has great potential. Animations are done beautifully, physics is very good, the ability to set any pre-projections and look into every nook makes the eggs explode: D For my part, I could give advice to developers (I know that they also read reviews in this forum after all):

1- MOST IMPORTANT -the graphic is very good, it is pointless with every patch to turn it up more and more. At some point, a large part of consumers simply drop out because their PCs fail. It is better to leave the engine on which everything looks very good and on most average PCs work on high details, than to create a beautiful engine but designed only for new computers. That's how it was with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and developers in the end released a game with reduced graphics due to too strong base engine

2 - many people are furious because there is no work towards a bloody RPG. look at the length of work best for the creators to work towards expanding this game as a sex simulator, because at the moment as such is unmatched. IS PHENOMENAL. The creation of a full rpg with the plot will last for centuries, because it is not the production of CD project or Blizzard who have hundreds of developers and the time of creating the game takes years. And work on the world must be at the expense of developing sex. AND 90% OF USERS WALK ABOUT SEX. In my opinion, the expansion of the world should head towards new buildings, houses, beds and nice places where sex will be even more juicy. So, building environments / posts for NPCs, in which sex will be even more real and stimulate the imagination, eg. Boats, bonfires, cozy house with a fireplace, some chairs, tables, other elements of the environment enabling sexual interaction. There are no restrictions.

At the end, with respect for the creators. You create a game about which generations of people who are brought up in the era of computer games dream. There is no game on this forum which in terms of sex simulator would be any kind of competition

Best graphics i have seen yet, physics are great, the attention to detail is way above any other lewd game i have seen on here if you find a better one let me know because i doubt one can top Wild Life. Plus the sex positions are well done. Currently it seems mostly like a sex simulator which is fine because like i said its quite beautiful to explore.

Really good animations and very good model variety. Too bad everybody can't fuck everybody. Very interested in where this goes. Great job so far.
Would be great if the same animations can be made to work with all combination of characters.

Really epic game with HUGE potential and really well made models. It is clearly 1. adult game I would willingly buy. I really hope it will completed its still long way to the goal thought. I wish the creator best of luck and determination to finish this project. PS: semen can not be removed by swimming also POV need lil improvement.

With the new content added i have to say this game is one of my fav.

animations and stability are really good but i would like to know if there are plans to get out of sandbox soon or if thats the purpose of the game!this game would make an insanely good nsfw rpg with questing!

(WildLife_septemberbuild) the game design is really good even the Animation are great the only Thing im missing in like most of games are climax Animation i mean like at least one climax Animation even so the game it self seems really good u have a good selection of Animation on each individual These is a game wich i would probally buy when its done great work ! Update 2018 it has still many Bugs I do not know if it only affects me but the sex animation does not work for me they change but always hang up and my character always moves slightly even when im not moving and Standing still does he move slightly.

Its a real 3D game with beautiful optic, i hope they continue the great work. This can be the game so many have waited for!

Looks really promising! A glitch I found in the game was when I turned off the female voice volume to 0, it muted the male's voice as well during the scenes and even when attempting to talk to them. Other than that, a solid looking game!

I’ve played almost all of the adult games out there. There are many fun games out there, but nothing comes close to this one.

The game is made using Unreal Engine. Yeah, the engine that is used by the big ones. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous! The animations, the models & the textures are made by professionals and look stunning, like nothing you have ever seen before. It is everything you want, presented in the best way possible.

The game is currently in early alpha, but even then I’ve had hours of fun just admiring how perfect everything is.. There is only a few characters with a few sex acts each.

These guys are serious about what they’re doing. They are putting so much time into this game. They have a studio and a few people working on the game. All of them or professionals at what they do. They make their own models and their own textures.

as for now 5/5/18 and sinze the beginning
the development have been very nice and active.
some errors have been made, but you cant get all perfect.
the game is very promissing, the devs motivated and the general result is a concept of game based on unreal engine wich is very beautyful and smooth.
no doubt this game is a must play, it cost some money ( cant get it under 5 buck) but it deserve it to be honest. the motivation and effort put on it is exemplar.

REVIEW UPDATE (as of 12 may 2021):

Jesus christ that was a long time i made a review... Now it's time to update it.
I would say that the chars still look absolutly amazing and spot on. Probably the best so far in any 3D full game.
The animations are still extremly well done and even tho they got some small glitches here and there like hands passing into body or small else things like clipping etc., theyare still some of the best around. Extremly smooth and nicely done and varied. Also, all chars have animations, some may have more than others, but basically a good amount for all of them.

so... Why did my review went from 4 full stars , to 2 stars ?

Well, here come the reasons... i ms orry Steve if this may make you sad, but my opinion and honesty must win, no bias, no cheat, no lies ...

Like mentionned, it's been a while sinze i review it.. like, quite litteraly a WHOLE SHIT TON LONG TIME.
Yet, what it's in ? a few new chars, a bunch of new animations and a couples of new map that are pretty cool and big.
But that's pretty much it. The story side is still has an embryon state, the inventory system, present, is quite useless... and nothing have pushed the game out of what it was when i review it the first time.
It is basically still a porn game where you just walk around, find a girl, fuck her and do this with all npcs and enjoy watching.
There is no much gameplay yet in the game... Yet, the game have a solid team of professional with long time experience and a massive support on the money side.
From what could be named a indie team (quite litteraly, they are not amateur AT ALL, they have massive studio, tons of material and a big team composed by professionals with lots of experience.), the result in such long time is honestly terrible.
So yes, i love the game, yes the devs are awesome, yes the game progress.

But god this could grow way faster and way better. I don't know what's wrong, but at this point, it's honestly questionable about "WTF are the devs doing with all theses time, money and equipment and experience they have ?"

i wouldn't mind such progress in a year... but my first review is from 2018.. that's 3 years! in 3 years, a indie team of professional have done nothing but barebones of a porn game.

Why doing maps while you could make a small story/gameplay for the first "desert" map ?
Why adding new chars when you can give the present ones some more life ?
Like, for exemple... imagine a char walking around and actually using various objects ? It would be nice and give the game more life.

Instead, you got chars walking around like total blind lifeless dummy, waiting for you to talk to them and fuck them.

combat have been implented... but why? who will care of fighting in a game where the main goal is to fuck npcs? to add gameplay ? no, that just add useless stress and difficulty in a game that doesn't need it.

Why adding new outfits? there is no point to give all chars some random outfits from tribal to futuristic , passing by gift ruban and bunny ears and bikini...

Clearly the game is went on the way to simply customize chars to fuck them. And totally ignored the gameplay side.

so yeah, sorry, it's fun to fuck NPC around.. But it's boring after 3 years.

Please give the game some gameplay, stories, actual "life" (Wild one, like the title say) , and maybe i will revisit my review.

Until then, nope. 2 stars.

It's not a game, it's a joke, many think, it's a scam, but I won't get into that.

This version consists of a female character (who actually does look pretty good) that you control from the third person.

She's in an oasis and in that oasis, there are :

2 other NPCS

some "food" that you can pick up (coconut, peach etc).

There's no settings menu, no controls information, in fact the only thing there is as far as that goes is a graphics level setting going from minimum to maximum.

Left click and right click didn't seem to do anything. Neither did middle mouse scroll or press.

As far as I could make out, the only controls are directional (wasd), a very buggy crouch "c) and a sprint / roll forward with space.

There's also an interact button, E, which you can use to pick up coconuts or interact with the npcs.

That's it, you can move around, and you can look around.

If you get close to one of the two NPCs, you get the option to interact with them by pressing E.

Short conversation that gives you the option to be agressive or nice, and to help or not to help.

If you don't help, I think that's it, game over. If you do help, you have to go pick up some coconuts.

I swear to god, that is it, there is nothing more, you literally pick up a few coconuts and peaches when the panther npc comes running to you and bugs out.

I tried again, and again, and agian, and really, after reading these forums, I realised that this was like a 99% chance to happen. So I gave up on the game.

It feels very cheap, very buggy, with no content at all and the little gameplay that does exist sucks donkey balls.

If Bethesda or Bioware were asked to make something out of this I'm sure they could, I really don't see this happening at all for this one.

IF U WANT TO REMEMBER ONE THING FROM THIS REVIEW, REMEMBER THIS -->> do not, DO NOT give or pledge any money, do not invest any cash, for god's sake, if that's really something you want to do, at least wait for something decent to be published... Not this sorry excuse for patreon bait.

Nothing here right now. Just a couple characters, a bunch of blurred out stuff, and bugs. There were a few animations that I saw, and I was able to fly for a second with a regular human, but I soon crashed on the ground and the character got stuck. I saw two playable characters and two bang-able characters. Interesting idea, but has a ways to go still.

This is a great game! So the topic deserves 5 star and POPULAR TAG! ;D
Wild life is a demo of game who has good character design, great visuals and will have am awesome storyline! Search por Adeptus Steve's patreon, he deserves some kind of donation to keep goind and make a Terrific game!
