I've been dealing with Daz for months and need help with only LIGHTING, so please don't answer this post if you're not proefcient in that. Please PM if you're willing to give lesson

here's daz/iray lighting in a nutshell, for free:
avoid dark scenes to avoid noise
use HDRi
or use sun nodes
you need to ramp up the lights luminance value to crazy numbers for them to start illuminating your scene
